Happy New Years 2013

It's here folks!!  Out with the old & in with the new. I'm happy to say goodbye to 2012, and welcome in 2013. The past year has been a tough year for many of us across the world. Let's not forget the unthinkable tragedy that recently happen in Newtown, CT, at Sandy Hook Elementary School. My heart is broken, and I still feel like it has been a terrible dream, but sadly it isn't. I should not complain one bit, considering what these poor families, teachers & students have gone through. My heart is with them all. We will do what we have to as a nation to stop violence! The laws need to become stricter with guns, &  schools need metal detectors. I don't think that placing an armed security guard, and or police officer at each school would stop all the violence. I think it will help out, and make families feel a bit safer sending their kids to school, but no matter which way you cut it, people will still be able to get their hands on weapons. I pray to god that the President , and the Senate will come together and make this crazy world we live in a much safer and better place. We as parents need to feel that it's o.k. to send our kids to school where it should be safe!!What are your thoughts on this?? I hope this year is a great one for you! Here's to peace, good health & happiness this year. May god watch over you and your family! With love from my family to yours!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS 2013

Another Year Has Come To An End !!

I can't believe that another is almost to an end. It just seems as if 2012 flew by to me. What are you plans for New Years Eve? I usually stay at home where I'm the safest. If you do go out and drink & drive, designate a sober driver. I absolutely hate this time of year when everyone goes out and parties, and forgets about being responsible. The police are out everywhere this year, and are determined to keep the roads safe, so please be careful wherever you go.

I'm hoping that 2013 will be a brighter year for me, and everyone else. Too many tragedies in 2012. Every time you flip the T.V. on that is all you hear about accidents, deaths, fires, etc. We need to be responsible as adults. and make this world we live in a safer place. Guns need to be locked up at all times, and not out where children are in reach. Kids are very curious, so don't put anything past them. My heart goes out to all of the families & friends of the Newtown Elementary School Shooting. This has really left a hole in my heart for all of them. We need to all come together as a nation, and do what is right for our kids, to keep them safe. If this means tougher laws, background checks, then this is what we need to do. Let's all stop violence!!! Enjoy your New Years Eve , and please be safe. Have fun and be responsible!!

Merry Christmas Everyone !!

I can't believe that it's already here. Where on earth has this year gone? I am very ready to say good bye to this year with all of the bead things happening lately. Are you still awake wrapping presents like me, or off to bed, and up and at it early? I hope that your Christmas is a very special & blessed day. I hope Santa has been good to you as well. Are you staying home, or going to be with family this Christmas? I'm going to be with family. My mom has Alzheimer's, so I'm hoping that it wont be too overwhelming for her as it was last year. I'm so thankful to have each and every day with her that god lets me. She is m best friend & I love her dearly. I hate Alzheimer's Disease with a passion. It's a terribly painful thing to watch.

My hear is heavy as I sit here and write this post tonight. All I can think of is 26 angels up in heaven flying high, and looking down on us. It breaks my heart to think of their families, and how they will manage getting through their first Christmas without them. I can't say I know how because I don't! One thing I do know is that those 20 kids & their teachers left memorable impressions on each and every one of us, and they will never be forgotten ever. God must have needed some angels with big shoulders, and he sure got the best of them. May all of these innocent victims RIP & know that your thought of not only today, tomorrow, and each day after. Thanks for the happiness that you brought to your families & friends! RIP Angels!!

Merry Christmas All,

Remembering The Vicitims Of Sandy Hook School

A bit over a week ago so many life's were changed since the terrible tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Newton, CT. It has been terribly painful for me to even talk about it, nor watch it on the news. All of those poor children that lost their life's, and the Teachers & Administrator's trying to protect them, who lost their life also. What has this world come to, and how can we come together as a nation , and stop all of this violence? As the President stated during a new conference "This needs to stop!" I can't even imagine how the families of these victims are coping with such a senseless act of violence. I can't even imagine celebrating Christmas in a few days, knowing that 26 families will be grieving knowing there love ones are not with them.
People have come together from all over the world to show their support for the 26 victims. As painful as it must be to be there, and feel the pain that the community is feeling now, it humbles me to see all of the support that is being shown. I wish I could be there with them, but unfortunately I'm unable to, but each and every one of them are in my mind. The funds set up at Banks, the kindful acts that are being shown from everyone is just amazing to me. The families are asking for privacy at this time, so they can grieve , and that is exactly what they are being given. All of the local news channels are giving them time. Some of the parents have come forward to talk about their loved ones. Emily Parker's father spoke on T.V. the night that this happened. How on earth could one keep it together to speak of a child that was killed? He wanted to show the world how precious of an angel that his daughter was. He was teaching her Portuguese, and she was just the light of his life. They had just moved not too long ago for work. The community was a good one, safe, and the schools were spoken very highly off. Grace MacDonald's parents spoke of her so eloquently also. She was a kind hearted girl, and didn't have one ounce of hate in her body. When I see these faces on T.V., it brings tears to my eyes instantly. These kids and teachers were innocent. Their life's should not have been cut short due to a cowardly maniac.

What can we do to stop all of this violence? Every time you turn the news on, this is all we hear of. Is getting armed security in schools all over the country the answer, or is banning guns in America the answer? I think that as individuals we have to take responsibility for our actions, and our children. I have noticed that some people tend to overlook things. Adam Lanza clearly had issues. I don't know what they were, and I don't know if we ever will, but to do what he did is just sad and pathetic. My heart aches for his family, as they have lost a mother & brother. I think there needs to be a ban put on guns, and it needs the way to get a license for a gun needs to become stricter. I don't own a gun, and I probably never will, but I have been told that you can walk into Walmart and purchase one without a background check. The NRA is saying that guns don't kill people, that people kill people! Well, then what exactly happened in Newtown last week?? A not stable individual walked into the school like a monster, and started shooting at poor innocent kids. The guns belonged to his mother, which I still ask myself each day why would she carry all of them guns with an unstable child with behavioral issues in the house? I guess we will never know. It seems to me that guns are very easy to come by for anyone that wants to get one. I do think that schools need metal detectors, because kids carry knifes & guns to school. It's not just adults. We really need to come together as one, and figure all this out. We should march to Congress and demand that our children's schools become safer. It's a sad day when 26 innocent people lose their lives to violence.
Vicky Soto is a hero. She did everything possible to protect her kids, whom she really called her kids. Her family says how very much she loved being a teacher. She was in school working on her Masters Degree, which she almost done. Vicky looks like a beautiful individual inside and out. Just from looking at her, and hearing the parents say how very they loved her teacher. I bet that she is looking down on her kids that survived and all of the other children of Sandy Hook School smiling. As tragic of an incident it was, she would want her kids to be happy, which they were when they were in her class. What a loss to the school with the amazing Teachers & Principal being gone. I know that they will rebuild, and Sandy Hook will become even stronger than ever.

I can't understand how this crazy act of violence took place, and I probably will never understand. All I know is that I will be praying for all of the families and friends of the victims. Your heroism should never be forgotten! I pray and hope that something good will come of this. I will do everything in my power to voice my opinion about violence & weapons. I will speak, and I will bark if I have to. This needs to stop! What happened to the day when we used our words? They are long gone. Parents need to teach their kids respect. This seems to be lost also. Maybe if we change little things at a time, this will help in the long run. Kids shouldn't be taught violence if something is making them mad. I will pray and keep all of the families in my heart. As I'm about to celebrate Christmas in a few days, My heart will be heavy thinking of you & your family. Try to think of all of the great times you had with your loved ones, and as much as it hurts and pains you, try to hold back the tears. Your angel is smiling down on you from up above, and I mean ANGEL!! Your children our precious little angels, that god has called home. He needed some special individuals, and this is what he got. God Bless you all, and my sincerest sympathy is with you at this very tragic time.

Are You Ready For The Big Fat Guy To Come???

Can you believe that Christmas will be here in less than two weeks? I can't , and don't want to believe it. Life has been so busy these last few months with everyday life, and caring for family members, it seems as if this year just passed us by. I remember somewhat of it, but the rest seems like a blur.  Christmas is that perfect time of year when the family all gets together to celebrate the special day. It's a time for cheer & joy and all the happiness that comes with it. Are your kids excited, and what do they want for Christmas?? Mine is older now, and all they want is gift cards & money. That's pretty easy for me, however, I do miss buying all of those toys for the kids, and the joy watching them open the presents.

Have you just about finished up with your shopping, or are waiting for the last minute like millions of others do each year? Heck,I like being stuck in traffic, and waiting in lines at stores with rude and obnoxious people. That always gets me in the mood for giving! I still have quite the bit of shopping to do, and I will get to it as quick as I can. It just don't seem to be a big priority this year, and I don't know why. Here's wishing each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas & a very bright, happy and healthy New Year!! I hope Santa is good to each of you. Thanks for stopping by!!

P.S. If your going out partying for the holidays, be responsible and don't drink and drive!! I happen to love my family and want them around for a long time, so please be responsible, and call a cab!! It's alot cheaper to call a cab, than dish out $5,000 for an attorney for a DUI..

Tony and Melissa Win DWTS All Stars Season 15

Can you believe that another season of DWTS has come and gone already?? This season has sure flown by fast with injuries, some of the top contenders exiting the show way too early like Joey Fatone, Helio Castronoves and Sabrina Bryan just to name a few.  I apologize about not keeping up with my weekly run downs about the show. Between not having power for several days, taking care of loved ones, and just everyday life, things have kept me busy and tired !! Let's not forget Christmas that is sneaking right up on us too.

So what did you think of the finals this season with Sabrina, Kelly and Melissa? I predicted this would be the finals way back on night one. I thought maybe Karina would possibly slide into one of the top three, but Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovisky sure had the fans behind them which got them there. This was Val's second season on DWTS, and he is just pure joy to watch He is a perfectionist just like his brother Maksim. The chemistry this season between them was crazy. Everyone in the world knew they were hooking up, even though they wold not admit it to the public.I liked every single of of their dances, with the Contemporary andArgentine Tango being my favorite. They were hot hot hot on the dance floor. I do think that the judges were a bit tough on them though. You sure can tell when they have their favorites, and that they did.

.For not ever dancing to this style of dance, they sure came out and killed it. I felt bad for Kelly, having to expose pretty much her whole body on national television, but she killed that dance! The photo to the right of Derek and Shawn was one of my favorites of theirs, besides their Freestyle, an every one of their dances. Derek Hough is the best of the best with choreography! He has proven this time an time again. My heart broke for him when he got hurt this season, but Shawn's old partner Mark Ballas stepped in, and they ended up scoring a perfect 30! They were beyond happy. I'll tell you, I was a bit scared in the finale between Melissa, and Shawn I knew that she had already won, and wanted this bad.

Finally, the moment that I have waited 14 seasons for . I have been a huge Tony Dovolani fan since season 1, and he has got close to winning , but never won. Then he had seasons where he was paired up with people that couldn't move their feet, or if they did, they were in the wrong direction. Tony had been paired up with Melissa on Season 8, right when she had come off The Bachelor. She only had two days to practice back then, and she was not confident with herself at all. This season she came prepared, very confident, and she gave it her all. Watching that girl dance each week was crazy. Her moves, her lines, extensions were flawless. She had become a very confident person. I knew long ago that this year would be Tony's to win, and I believed in him right from the get go. They were in the bottom two once, and I wasn't that scared, as I knew this season was his. I called people, Talked on twitter and FB, begging my friends to vote for Tony, and Melissa. I did everything possible to get them votes. When they were announced the champs of the All Stars, I think I teared up. I was so happy for the both of them. Watching the joy on Tony's face was a moment I will never forget. Melissa thought she would never make it past week 4 with all the tough competition. How does it feel being a champ Melissa? You did it! You worked hard, gave it your all, and you succeeded girl, so bravo to you! Keep going strong! Your a beautiful and delightful gal, with a bright future. Eat your heart out Mesnick!!! See how much further you get in life when your a nice person!!

Congratulations to Melissa Rycroft Strickland and Tony Dovolani for becoming the All Stars Champs! Enjoy your victory, and hold that trophy close to your heart. You worked hard, and you achieved victory! I was thrilled that this happened on Tony's 13th Anniversary. His beautiful wife must have been over the moon with joy. I hope Tony and his family are having fun in Disney World!! Now I have to figure out what to watch until March 18th, 2013. I hear that there will be an All Star Celebrity Apprentice coming soon, so I probably will be watching that. Donald Trump is a genius coming up with ideas that belong to others. That man drives me nuts!! He never stops!! Thanks to all of you who stopped by to visit. I wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season, and a healthy, wealthy and awesome New Year!! God Bless you and yours!

Did You Score Some Deals On Black Friday??

How did you do on Black Friday shopping? Did you score any great deals? My shopping trip was kind of short and sweet this year, as I was pretty tired from Thanksgiving! Normally I go out to Kohl's, but I didn't this year. There was nothing that I really needed there, and my feet weren't up to all of that standing in line inside, and out. I did go to Walmart to pick up a few things, and I wasn't planning on going there after the foolishness that I put up with last year.  I did give it another chance though, and things seemed to be in pretty good order there, with police officers around the store inside and out.

Once it turned 8 p.m. people went nuts, and it seemed to be towards the big items. All I wanted to get was a Vacuum, and this real soft Velour Blanket & a pillow, which I got, and went right up to the register, and paid for. I was quick, I knew what I wanted, and ten I was on my way home. My friend who was shopping at Toys R Us had been standing for hours out in the cold, so she could score some great deals on toys for her grand kids. They also ave the first 250 people in line a free bag of toys valued up to $30 which was sweet of them. She wanted me to drive and meet her for the midnight sales, but my body was up for it this year. I also scored some great deals at Bath & Body with their buy 3, get 3 deal, and with a $40 purchase, I was able to purchase their 2012 VIP Bag, which had over $100 in items inside. Now that was a great deal. You could also stack coupons towards your purchase, like $10 off $30.

What did you happen to score on Black Friday that was a great deal? I know that T.V.'s were on sale like crazy. I saw 32" Televisions on safe for $97 and up. I paid hundreds for mine years ago, so now the price drops down.Did you get and good deals on toys for the kiddos, or  grand kids? I hope you had a blast shopping, and now you are all rested up. I know how very tiring this can be on ones body. I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner. It's actually pretty scary when you think of it. Are you going anywhere different this Christmas? I'm not. I'm celebrating with my parents and family. My mom is sick, so I'm hoping that this Christmas is an enjoyable one with her. Here is something to try to get you into the Christmas spirit. If you love the Gangnam Style dance by PSY, then click here.

Happy Thanksgiving Day !!!

Wishing all of my family & friends a wonderful Thanksgiving today! I can't believe that this day has arrived. Where on earth has this year gone? This year has passed by it seems like in a flash. Where will you be spending Thanksgiving? I will be with my family like always. All of my desserts have been baked. Apple Pie , Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Creme Pie & Pumpkin Roll. I couldn't resist the Apple Pie last night as I took it out of the oven. The aroma in the house was very pleasing, so I cut right into it, and it was scrumptious as ever with some vanilla ice cream on top. Yum Yum!!

What are you thankful for today? I'm so thankful for my family, my son, and all of my wonderful friends. I'm also thankful for each and every day the good lord gives me with my mom who is ill, I'm thankful for all of our troops that fight to protect this country we live in, I'm thankful for all who have helped out to aid Sandy victims, I'm thankful for Jimmy Kimmel for making me laugh my butt off each weekday night, I'm thankful for Dr. Phil for keeping it real, I'm very thankful for Melissa Rycroft Strickland & the marvelous Tony Dovolani for making it to the finals on DWTS, also thankful for the cortisone that helped Tony dance to get there, and lastly, I'm thankful for my bathroom scale that does NOT work anymore!! I hope you all have a terrific Thanksgiving with your family, and friends! If your going out Black Friday shopping be careful of all the crazies who like to rampage stores for the discount items. It's not worth hurting an innocent person due to greed!

Have A Blessed Day,

Will You Be Going Shopping On Black Friday ?

Can you believe that the most busiest days in store around the world is almost here? Will you be going out shopping  and fighting the crowds to get some steals and deals? I have been going out shopping the last few years with my sister, and a good friend. Last year was so pumped up after Thanksgiving Dinner, that I came home for awhile to rest, but I was unable to do so, so I jumped in the car & headed to Walmart. I was going to stand in line, and wait for a great deal on a 42" television, which I bought and love it so much. Just thought I'd share a photo with you below, to show you what you might be getting into, should you go out shopping.

Is this what you really want to get yourself into on Black Friday? I love the thrill of it, and the adrenaline rush that you get.  I went to Walmart last year for a phone at midnight, and when they removed the cover from the stand, I got trampled on. You would have thought they were giving out money or something.People were grabbing as many as they could. It was freaking nuts!! I will not put myself into that situation this year. I got hurt over a phone. This season my list is very slim on what I will be looking for.

I will definitely be going to Bath & Body to get my hands on some great deals, and I will be looking for a Tommy Tom for a gift. Does anyone know where I could find a deal on one? If you go shopping, please be careful if your by yourself. The crazies are out looking for victims this time of year. Please be courteous  of others too. If you happen to bump into someone with  carriage, a sorry would be the proper thing to do, and no fighting or stealing in the stores. I do not want to witness that at all. If your standing in line for a computer or T.V., bring a snack with you . Remember that patience goes a long way. Be courteous to the store workers also. This is a hectic time to be working for them, so be nice. Have fun & e safe!! I'd love to hear your stories from Black Friday.

Have You Started Christmas Shopping Yet?

Evangers Pet Food Review

Until recently, I had never heard of Evanger's Pet food before. The fine folks at Evanger's , located in Wheeling, IL., were kind enough to let me review their Cat Food on my blog. I was sent the Grain Free Meat Lovers Medley with Rabbit Dry Food & several different cans of wet food. I also received some coupons  and a great calendar. I have always stuck with the same pet food for my cats, so this was going to be the first time that I had tried anything new with them. I have one cat that is very picky at what I feed her also, so I'm a bit leary on how she will accept a new food.

Evanger's came to life in 1935, when Fred  Evanger was making pure meat canned foods at his kennels because he felt that his champion Great Danes required superior nutrition in order to to prevent any dietary deficiencies. In 2002,hand packed wet food was developed for Fred's dog Yukon. Yukon had always liked what his owner's were eating, so they decided to pack steak in a can, and cook it, and Yukon fell in love with it. Evanger's has been proudly owned for 75+ years, and is sold in pet shops all over the world. The quality of the food is the utmost importance, along with customer service.

My cat loved the wet cat food in the can, especially the Organic Turkey & Butternut Squash Dinner, As I opened the can, I was thinking how much I like turkey & squash on Thanksgiving, so why wouldn't my cat?? She didn't waste no time in chowing down on it either. The ingredients are organic, and good for all aged cats. Evanger's carry a line of Grain Free game meats which are 100% meat, and come in 6 oz & 13 oz pop top cans, depending on how much you feed your cats each day.
Evanger's  developed the Signature Series featuring Cuts in Gravy to celebrate 75 years of manufacturing quality pet food. The ingredients that were avoided were  meat by-products, wheat gluten, blood plasma, grains, and binding agents. There are no artificial colors or preservatives in the food either. Evanger's also carries an all natural line of pet treats for your dog and cat. They range from Buffalo, Pheasant, to Chicken & Venison. What animal wouldn't love these scrumptious tasting treats?

Evanger's  can be purchased at over 5,000 retailers in the U.S. & Canada. You can find a store close to you by clicking here. You can also find a list of the events happening in your area here. If your looking into trying something new & healthy for your cat or dog, than you have found the right place with Evanger's. My cat's were thrilled with the  Grain Free Meat Lover's Medley With Rabbit Food. I thought the color might have thrown them off a bit, as this is a much darker color, but that was not so. They dove right into it the medley of delicious meats, fruits & vegetables. This formula contains probiotics to support healthy immune and digestive systems, as well as flax seed and omegas 3 and 6 for healthy joint, skin, and coat, for all breeds and all life stages.
Thanks to the folks at Evanger's for giving me the chance to review such fine pet food for my cat's. My cat's were delightfully happy with the new line of food that I introduced them to. I'm happy to say that I would highly recommend Evanger's to anyone with cat's or dog's. If you want your animals to eat healthy tasting morsels, then you have found that with Evanger's. The prices are very reasonable too. Feel free to follow Evanger's on FB and follow on Twitter. Have you ever tried Evanger's before, and if so, I'd love to hear what your thoughts are about their pet food. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Cheers,

I'm Bummed About Superpoints

I just found out as I went to click on Superpoints to do my clicks for the day, that Superpoints has come to a close. I couldn't believe it, as this site was one of my favorites. I must say that I'm a bit bummed about this. I have been saving all of my Superpoints, and was hoping to use them for the holidays since things get pretty tough this time of year. I had thousands of these saved up. I was just on the site yesterday, and knew nothing of this coming at all. Had I known it was coming, I might have used them up, or at least some of them. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this today. The message said something about Superpoints, LLC, taking back over management.

The message stated that they will try to fulfill any prior orders before the announcement came out, and they would be happy to answer any new emails, but would not be able to answer the old ones. How do you feel about this? I'm sure I'm not the only one with Superpoints saved up. I wish they could have handled this a bit different, and not leave people hanging, but I'm sure it's about the $$$. I was just on this site yesterday afternoon doing my spins. I hope that Superpoints decides to maybe change things up a bit, and come back. I absolutely love this site, and the ways you can redeem points.

As the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end". What are your feelings about Superpoints closing? Are you as sad as I am? Did you have a bunch of points saved up for Christmas like I did? Let me know what your thinking about this. I love hearing every ones thoughts. I pray to god that nothing happens to Swagbucks. Since Superpoints has come to an end, I think that whatever was left over in ones account should be donated to Red Cross for relief of Hurricane Sandy. That's just my opinion. Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed day! :)

Today Is The Day.. Get Out And Vote!!

I can't believe this day has finally come. It seems like the constant bickering, bad campaign ads, not so great debates on television, phone calls & constant junk mail is finally coming to an end!! Thank god is all I have to say!! I went to bed last night feeling good about today. Today I will go out and vote for the person that I think would better run this country, the person that I feel like I could trust, the person that doesn't beat around the bush, the person that will give this country his all! This has been one of the toughest campaigns that I , and millions of others have had to watch day after day for the last year or more. The nonsense, the name calling between all parties including Senators, Congressmen , and Presidential Candidates has been truly atrocious! I have never in my life as long as I can remember, ever seen election campaigns like this.

One that really stuck out for me is between Congressman Chris Murphy & Linda Mc Mahon, who wants to oust Chris from his seat. These two have been attacking each other for months, and have been down and dirty. I don't even feel the need to vote for either of them. Linda Mc Mahon is not a person that I feel like I could trust at all, and I'm not happy with her opponent Chris Murphy either.

If your one of those who haven't made your mind up on who your voting for, keep these facts in mind between President Obama & Mitt Romney :

What President Obama has done:

~Inherited a economic mess, then with the help of congress (they did do something in the last 4 years) got the economy out of free fall and stabilized.

~Brought our troops home from Iraq

~Raised fuel economy standards so that we are less reliant on oil from the people who don't like us.

~Unlike Iraq, worked with our European allies to form a coalition for a

    no-fly zone in Libya

~Hastened the fall of Ghadaffi, without any US troops on the ground and no one troop lost.

~Influenced the fall of Mubarak, without making enemies with the Egyptian opposition.

~Made the call to kill the Somali pirates holding a US hostage, remember?

~Bringing health care to uninsured American who otherwise go to the emergency room and continue to drive up health care costs (we are paying for these people one why or another)

~Tried to work with a do nothing Congress lead by Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and Eric Cantor and tea party ideology.

~ Oh yah, made the call to kill Osama bin Laden and dump his body into the sea.

  Romney supporters:

~Romney has changed his position every other week.

~Romney has not released his tax returns.

~Romney hides money in 9 different offshore accounts to avoid paying taxes on it.

~Romney has clearly stated behind closed doors that half the country is lazy moochers.

~Romney has written off nearly 50% of the country as "victims."

~Romney headed Bain, who FIRED American workers and sent jobs overseas, so he
   could profit by millions!

~Romney has LIED throughout his campaign.

~ Romney has Flip Flopped continuously throughout the campaign.

~Romney has not provided any specific details of his policies and 5 trillion $ tax plan.

~ Romney has stated he would CUT the affordable health care act on day one.

~Romney has stated he would DEFUND Planned Parenthood.

~Romney has endorsed the Murdoch, who stated that pregnancy from rape is God's will.

~Romney did not endorse the Lilly Lead better act for equal pay for women.

~ Romney said nothing when Limbaugh called Sandra f,u,c,k a SL**T on national airwaves.

~Romney wanted the Auto Industry to FAIL and said "Let em' go bankrupt."

~Romney stated that we should not stop foreclosures, but let Americans default.

~Romney has stated that he would not let the Bush tax cuts expire for the super wealthy.

~Romney did not ONCE acknowledge or even mention our veterans at his convention.

~ Romney is hiding the details of this tax policies until AFTER the election.

~Romney's math just simply does NOT add up, according to Economists.

~Romney is another out of touch, rich guy who thinks he's "entitled" to Presidency,
   because of his wealth.

~Romney works for only the wealthy and cares nothing about struggling middle-class Americans.
Romney is bad for the country.

Today is the day to move Forward!! Today is the day that I will vote to reelect Barack Obama !! I will put my faith in him for another four years. He inherited quite the mess from The Busch Administration, and tried to do his best. I will give him another chance to straighten this country out, to get the spending under control, to get millions of American's their jobs back, or find new ones, and to improve the Health care system. Millions of American's  who worked all their life have no insurance, and can't afford to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy their prescriptions to keep them alive, yet some who don't work can get it for free?? Something has to change with this.

Whatever choice you make today is an important one. Get out to vote. Don't have that attitude as some do about voting. Remember 8 years ago with Busch & Al Gore, when we didn't have a President Elect for it seemed like ever. I had never in my life seen a race so close. I still say the country would have done much better with Al Gore as President.  May the best man win today! Good Luck to all who are running, and God Bless America!!

DWTS Week 6 .. Country Dancing

Week six has come and gone and it was a tough one for many. This week was country dancing, and due to Hurricane Sandy, I wasn't able to watch the whole show. I got to see clips on You Tube, and the following night I was able to see the dances as they were shown again. I was so sad that I wasn't able to watch Sabrina & Louis and Karina & Apolo get a perfect score. I couldn't believe how well all of the couples danced last week. They were simply amazing. They were all on their game. Kirstie & Max received their highest scores yet, while Kelly & Val were on the bottom of the leaderboard.
Shawn & Derek danced to the Cha Cha even with injuries affecting them both. Shawn's knee was hurt , and Derek had a bulging disc in his neck. I must say that Derek Hough is one fine looking cowboy. I just love him so much. Not a thing stops him week after week. He is by far one of the shows best dancers of all time. They ended getting a 28 for the week, and were safe from being eliminated last week. Mark Balas will be filling in for Derek this week, so he can rest his neck per Dr.'s orders. Shawn must be thrilled to dance with her former partner again, and a bit nervous not knowing the outcome  of Derek's injury. I have had neck surgery due to the same injury, and it's not a piece of cake. Feel better soon Derek!
Nothing will stop Melissa Rycroft when it comes to dancing. She has had previous injuries being on DWTS the last time, and with her neck injury just a few weeks ago, I'm sure she was scared to dance, but she did it, and from what I read she did well.As bummed out as I was not being able to watch my favorite couple Tony & Melissa dance the Viennese Waltz due to power outage thanks to Sandy, I was thanking my lucky stars that we escaped the worst. When I watched their dance on You Tube, I couldn't believe how well Melissa danced. She was flawless & simply outstanding. Her lines were exquisite. She received two 10's from Len & Bruno, and a 9.5 from Carrie Ann, which I believe she got ripped off, and should have got a ten to make it a perfect score.

The judges have been real tough this year with scoring, and I absolutely hate the half point system. Karina & Apollo and Sabrina & Louis scored a perfect 30. Karina & Apollo danced a Viennese Waltz, and Sabrina and Louis danced the Rumba. Sabrina put all of her heart and soul into this dance, as it was very personal to her, and it showed 100%. It was breath taking to watch. They were finally on top of their game. Apollo & Karina danced amazingly beautiful together. After their little squabble last week, they worked their butts off, and came back so strong this week, This was the Apollo that I knew and loved when he danced with Julianne Hough. He was finally back on top. Karina knows what it's like to win, and I can tell that she is wanting #2 trophy. They both have what it takes to make it to the finale. Kirstie and Max kept me wanting to see more dancing. They danced to a sexy Rumba and when I say sexy, I mean it. I was wondering if they would be safe for yet another week, and that they were.

Let me just tell everyone how very much important it is to vote. Last week on DWTS, one of the front runners in the competition was sent home. Sabrina Bryan & Louis Van Amstel(whom I Adore), scored a perfect 30 to their Rumba, and were in the bottom two with Melissa & Tony. My stomach was sick. I had this gut feeling that a front runner would be sent home this week, and indeed that is what happened. After almost having heart failure watching Melissa & Tony be in the bottom two, and possibly be eliminated, in the end they were safe. Melissa & Tony were over the moon with joy, but also heart broken to see such a good dancer be eliminated. Sabrina danced many seasons ago, and was eliminated in week 6 then also, only to have the same thing happen again. This should NOT have happened. That girl is one talented dancer. I expected her to make it right up to the finale for sure. It was so painful to see the hurt that she felt after being eliminated. Something has to change with the system that DWTS has. For someone like Bristol Palin to make it to the finale, and for someone such as Sabrina who could have won this competition, to be sent home is purely wrong. Maybe they should have a save like American Idol. All I know is how upsetting it was to see this happen to them both.

If your a fan of the show and have a favorite couple, then pick up the phone and vote. It don't take long to do it but a few seconds. Don't just assume that your favorite dancer is safe. That does not mean a thing. It didn't for Sabrina & Louis. At least they left the competition on top , verses the bottom. The two couples with the lowest score were safe, and the one with the highest was sent home. Sounds fair right? There are a few ways to vote like online at DWTS, FB & the phone. Please do this if you have a favorite. You can also do it if it's your families favorite couple also. I have seen enough devastation on DWTS due to people being sent home early, and it does not feel right at all. It's a huge void. I just can't wait to see Louis & Sabrina come back for the finale.

Lastly, I'd like to keep all of the victims from Hurricane Sandy who lost their houses, and those who lost their lives due to this catastrophic event in my prayers. I was very lucky to escape the worst, but others weren't. I will keep you all in my prayers, and I will do whatever I can to help you out in your time of need. Red Cross is accepting blood donations, and or cash donation,or whatever you would like to donate. These people lost everything, and have nothing, so every little penny counts. DO what you can to help out, and tell your family the same. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have lost a home, or a loved one from Sandy. Know that better days are ahead, and we stand united. You will get through this, and be even stronger than before. We are one tough country, and we stand together when needed. Thanks to President Obama, and all of the hardworking Governor's & State Senators for all of their hard work, Also a big shout out to the public utilities for working around the clock to get all the millions of people their power back. Only a selfless person could do your job. Know that all of your work is appreciated! God Bless everyone & their families. Keep safe & stay strong! We will beat this!

Cheers.

Happy Halloween !!! Have Fun & Be Safe !!

I can't believe this time of year is here again. Happy Halloween to you all. Depending of where you live, Sandy has tried to put a damper on our Halloween this year. I'm very thankful to have escaped serious damage from this storm. Thousands of people are without power now, and tree's are down everywhere all over the place. I'm thanking my lucky stars today that the storm didn't leave as much destruction as it was supposed to. At some point during Sandy, the storm turned away, and things slowed down a bit, so we lucked out.

My heart goes out to all of the families that lost loved ones due to this storm. A local fire department lost a member when a tree landed on his truck and killed him, and another elderly lady was killed as her, and her family were leaving their home to go stay with a neighbor. Her two other family members were seriously hurt also. My heart goes out to all of the people in New Jersey, and NYC who lost homes due to water damage & fire. One part of NY lost over 100 homes due to fire , which resulted in a huge explosion. I can't complain when I hear of what so many others have had to go through.

If your taking your kids out tonight, please be safe where ever you go, and carry a flashlight with you for your safety. There are power lines still down, and tree's down. I don't think I would attempt to go out considering all the havoc this storm has caused. It's just not worth it. Have a little party yourself at home, or see if there is a party at a local firehouse. Have fun & be safe!! Don't let the kiddo's eat too much candy, as it rots your teeth! P.S.... Dentist's are too expensive !!

DWTS Week 5 Team Dances A Must See

Can you believe that we have reached the half way mark on DWTS? Five weeks went by so far, which were five too many watching Bristol Palin dance each week, but thankfully, there was a god last week, and she went home. Things do happen for a reason. Bristol Palin would have never been able to compete like the other celebrities in the team dance. It was a lot of choreography, and it was very hard to learn according to all the celebrities. Here are a few highlights of the night below:

Melissa & Tony danced the Tango. This was the first time they had danced this, as she was sent home before the Tango on Season 8. I think Melissa killed it. She fit the part 100%. For not knowing much of the dance, she came out, gave it her all, and she played the character perfectly. She looked smoking hot in that red hair. They received 9's for their score. Melissa gives dancing her everything each week. I really want to see Tony & Melissa make it to the finale. They deserve it 100%. The competition is fierce this season with 6 or 7 past mirror ball champs dancing faith it them two, and they have my votes each week.

Louis & Sabrina got great scores this week too. They danced The Waltz, and Sabrina got to play Princess for an evening. She fit the part whole heatedly too. She looked amazing &and so did her handsome partner Louis. Louis is so full of talent, and has yet to win, so I'd like to see good things for him and his partner Sabrina. I met Louis in person, and he's one of the sweetest people ever. They received 9's for the evening also. It was a fairy tale for a princess, and that is what Sabrina was for the night.
Derek and Shawn danced to the Samba, and left me wanting to see more. They danced this to the Titanic, which is a beautiful song, and when you put two beautiful dancers together, it was exquisite. The lines were beautiful. Derek and Shawn make a very steamy couple together. I though that this was a perfect dance, which should have scored them a perfect 30. However, the judges thought a bit different, at least Carrie Ann did. She deducted a point for what she called a lift. Derek didn't see it this way though. He called it a jump, which was caught. Anyways, the dance was beautiful, and they danced it beautifully.
Did you happen to see the team dances? I hope you didn't miss Team Guile's Gangnam Dance. I didn't have a clue as to what it was before hand. I had to ask my friend about it, and she said it was the "New" dance that's out. I thought they rehearsed many hours  and days to get this down to a T. It was so entertaining to watch. Each one of the celebs and pro's held their own. I was very impressed how Kirstie Alley did with Maksim, considering she is the oldest one there. Her age sure didn't stop her one moment. I thought that the stand out in this dance were Guiles and Peta, and Val .Emitt brought it home also. I loved the eyes on him when he was on the floor. The best part of the dance was when Guile's ripped his white towel off, and stood there in his whitey tidies. OMG!! I couldn't believe he did that. He should be the model spokesperson for Hanes with the body that he has. He is simply fantabulous! What's not to love with him?? Click on the video above, and watch for yourself.

Team Call Me Maybe was the winner in team dances if I say so. They scored a 29 out of 30, and the judges were so impressed. I was so happy to see Melissa Rycroft be part of this dance , considering she had just hurt herself a day before, and this was alot of lifting and jumping. It was hard to tell who the celebrities were, and who the pros were. That is how well they danced together. I must say that Apollo Anton really came back this week, and him and his partner redeemed themselves. He really stood out to me in the team dance. He was the only guy pro, and he held up just as good as Melissa, Shawn and Sabrina who have had dancing, and cheer leading experience before. It was so nice to see this dance. I was in heaven after it. I loved the outfits that they wore, and the whole school theme with the desks was cute.

There was no elimination this week due to two one hour nights of dancing , and the Presidential Debate being on. What are your thoughts so far on the show, and who do you want to see win? Who I want to see win, and who will win are two different scenarios. I would love to see Tony and Melissa win this. Tony has never won, and this is his season to win. He has a superb partner. There is some very tough competition this season though. Derek and Shawn are both champs, so are Emmit and Cheryl, and Val and Kelly Monaco are a force to be reckoned with. Let's not forget the sexy Peta and Guile's. They have been leading this race pretty much from the get go. When you have two very strong dancers who are determined to win, well that is what we have with them.

The finale will be here in weeks to come, so we will find out who will make it into the finals. My guess would be Guile's and Peta, Tony and Melissa, and Val and Kelly, This is who I'd love to see in the finals. Let's not forget Twinkle Toes himself "Emmit". He is the crowd favorite, and is a former champ with two time champ Cheryl Burke. I love reading your comments, so please feel free to leave them. Let me know who you want to win also. Feel free to check out my giveaways while your here too. There's always something going on! Thanks for stopping by!:)

Farm Rich Appetizers Review & Giveaway

Have you ever had a night at home when you just didn't feel like cooking dinner for the family? I have them every now and then, and thanks to Farm Rich , my problem is solved once I open the freezer door. Farm Rich carries a huge variety of products, including Mozzarella Sticks, which happen to be a favorite of mine, Mini Pizza Slices, Mini Quesadillas, to Queso Cheese Bites. They also carry French Toast Sticks, which come in handy when you have kids who wake up bright and early looking for food.  I cook French Toast Sticks for my son, and he loves them along side of his sausage links. Heck, I have even got hooked onto these lately, They are easy to prepare, made with wholesome ingredients, and have a good source of iron in them.

Thanks to Farm Rich for sending me coupons so I could try out their products. I chose the Mozzarella Sticks & the Mini Pizza Slices. I have since tried out the Italian Style Meatballs also. The Mozzarella Sticks are my favorite Farm Rich product. The first time I tried these I couldn't believe how tasty they were. I usually get this for an appetizer when I go out to eat, but nothing compares to Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks. All you do is throw them in the oven at 450 degrees, for about 10-12 minutes, warm up some Marinara Sauce to go with them, and "Voila", your done! Once you try these, you will not want to stop eating them. The taste is absolutely scrumptious! Be careful to not overcook them, as burnt cheese does not taste good.
The Farm Rich Mini Pizza Slices were a big hit over the weekend, when the guys were watching football games.Normally I order pizza, and have it delivered, but I wanted to change it up this weekend, and have a Farm Rich tasting at my house. The Mini Pizza's were a hit. They are made of authentic pizzeria style crust, made with 100%  real Mozzarella cheese with pepperoni slices, and made with classic marinara sauce. If you worry about getting your daily sources of calcium and protein, you will get that in these pizza slices. They are simple & easy to cook at 400 degrees for about 10-15. They have zero grams of trans fat per serving. The trans fat is the bad stuff that you don't want in your diet. FYI. You can sprinkle cheese, and or dip in marinara sauce if you want like I did.

Farm Rich products can be purchased at your local grocery stores, and can run about $5.99- $7.99, depending on if there is a sale going on, and if you have your Farm Rich coupon. You can also find the above products and more at your local B.J.'s or Sam's Club. I tend to get mine at my local Walmart or Target in the food section, as the prices are very reasonable there, and they except competitior coupons. Would you like to win a coupon for a free Farm Rich product?

The great folks over at Farm Rich are giving two of my readers a chance to try one of their products. All you have to do is like Farm Rich on FB, and leave me a comment telling me which product you would like to try? These entries are MANDATORY. You can also get a coupon by clicking here to save $1.50 on two products. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only, and you must be 18 to enter. Please include your email with your entries, so I can get ahold of you should you win. Winner will be notified by email, and will have 48 hours to confirm win, or I will have to do a re -draw.
