The Damage From Hurricane Irene

As you can see you can above some of the damage from Hurricance Irene. I'm so glad and thankful that this has come and gone, and let me tell you I was in fear the whole time. I was prepared at my home, but just not knowing what would happened had my nerves in shambles. A few treed down here and there around me, but so many other people weren't that lucky. Here are some pics below fom Hurricaine Irene in the neighborhoods around me.
This one was at our local CVS Store in my town. It landed in the parking lot and didn't harm the store or a soul, just power lines. Over 80% on people in my town do not have any power from Hurricane Irene. The restaurants are jammed packed, and are making a killing in $$$. You need to eat somehow right. None of the traffic lights work, which makes it very dangerous to be driving especially at night. You need to watch out for power lines down everythere. The town public utilities people are out working day and night to get us back with power.
This house is right next door to my sisters friends house. They got clobbered by two trees, and plenty of damage to the house, rood, gutters, porch, etc. I couldn't believe what I was seeing here, and just thought to myself how very thankful that I am to be safe, and have a roof over my head. Many of people don't and some which lost their lives to Hurricane Irene. My heart goes out to their families. They have one heck of a mess to clean up here. I'm so thankful that the family escaped without injury.

Lastly I wanted to how you a picture of our local Hess Gas Statione below. Alot of the gas stations had to close due to no power, or ran out of gas, and of course guess who needed gas yesterday?? ME !!! After driving around for awhile I did finally find one without the waiting like out the parking lot. I had to pay a bit more for it, but I didn't care at that point.

I have never ever in my entire life seen a waiting line out of the parking lot like this. People were cutting infront of each other. It was pure crazy!! I did hear that he did run out of gas, so he had to close business. I'm so thankful that I'm safe, and all my family is too. For some of them with no running water, no electricity, phone, TV, Interenet, stove, microwave, etc, it is a bit tough. It reminds me of camping a bit. I pray that everyoen will get their power back soon, and start to rebuild what they have lost due to Irene. Just when you think nothing like this won't ever happen to you it does!! I hope I never see anything like this again ever.It sure pays to be prepared for a time like this. I will try to do whatever I can to help others out even if it's letting them use my shower, stove, phone, what ever it is, I will gladly help out. I know they would do it for me. Thanks for stopping by!! Have yourself a blessed day and be safe!! Let me know how things are where you live, and how you managed to get through Hurricaine Irene?

I'm Scared Out Of My Mind

I'm not sure how to feel right now, but what I'm felling is scared. Scared to death of what Hurricane Irene is going to do to our state. I have been listening to the news it seems like for the last four or five days, and she's coming right our way. I think I'm prepared as much as I could be. I have candles, flashlights, coolers, ice, plenty of water and non perishable items, and a emergency kit where I keep things that are needed. I kind of am expecting the worse with this storm with down power lines, no electricity, trees down, etc. I feel as if it's going to come and do a whamo number on us.

I went to Walmart today to get a couple of small items, and the store was crazy busy. There was absolutely not water, nor batteries to buy. The only place I heard that had them was Ocean State Job Lot, and they were a pretty penny there. I try to stock up on these things when I can because you never know what mother nature has in store for us. It you don't need to go out for any reason, then don't! Going out into a storm of this nature is plain old stupid, and your asking for trouble. Try to keep an eye on the elderly folks nearby if you can. I know I will be checking on my neighbors. They are both almost 90 years old, so I will keep an eye on them. That is how I roll!!

I hope everyday stays as safe as possible during Hurricane Irene, and remember that it will pass. It might leave some destruction but it will pass. I feel a bit better now that I have vented a bit. I just need to sit down, relax, take some deep breathes, and pop a Zanax!! Now that will surely help me with my anxiety!! I'll love to hear your comments if you have any advice, or tips on what to do, and not do during a Hurricane. Whatever you do, if you have a telephone car charger, and your call phone dies, do not go out to charge it in the garage and sit in the car. This could be dangerous, as trees will come down. I shut my cell phone off most of the time, and use it as I need it. Now the laptop will be another story!! I will panic when that dies out too!! Enjoy your evening, and be safe and sound! God loves you and so do I !! Thanks for stopping by!!

Vitalicious Muffins Giveaway- Ends 9/6

Have you ever tried any Vitalicious products before? Thanks to Vitalicious, I was lucky enough to receive some of their Sugar Free Banana Nut Muffins , Deep Chocolate Vita Muffins, and Deep & Velvety Chocolate Vita Brownies to sample. If you have a sweet tooth, and enjoy having a snack with your coffee or tea, then you can't go wrong with Vitalicious products. Trust me, they are scrumpdilyicious, and everyone needs to have a box or two of Vitalicious products in their house.
The Sugar Free Banana Nut Muffins were a huge favorite in my house. Not only do they have zero sugar in them, they have 0.5 grams of fat in them, and are a very low calorie item to eat. There is 70 calories in each muffin. These are the perfect snack for someone who is diabetic, or just watching their waist line. The Sugar Free Banana Nut Muffins come 16 in a box, and are $23.15. That is pretty cheap considering it costs about $2.00 for a muffin if you purchase it at Dunkin Donuts.
The Deep Chocolate Vita Muffins are my absolute favorite. They are full of chocolate in every bite, and nice and moist. I you have chocolate kicks like I do, these are perfect for that. Don't just think that you can only eat one at a time. The Deep Chocolate Vita Muffins are for sure a grad slam in my house. They are very reasonably price at $18.00 for a box of 16. Not bad right?? These muffins have 1.5 gm of fat, an 100 calories in each of them. You wouldn't think 100 calories for something with chocolate in it.

Not only does Vitalicious carry muffins and Vita Tops, they have a selection of Sampler Packages, which are great, because there is a variety of muffins in them, they also carry 150 calorie Breakfast Sandwiches, Vitacakes, and so much more. Vitalicious products are reasonably priced, and not too bad for the waist line if your like me, and are watching your calories. You know what else I like about Vitalicious?? They are givers, and are giving one of my readers a chance to win the same products that I listed above plus Vita Brownies which are awesome too.

All you have to do is stop by Vitalicious and tell me something you learned about their products. This is MANDATORY an must be done in order for other entries to count. Nicole Lee U.S.A. Handbag Review & Giveaway- Ends 9/3

I recently received an absolutely gorgeous handbag from Nicole Lee U.S.A. . I have a huge fetish for handbags and I have always wanted a blue bag to fit in my collection so the Sade #1719 in baby blue was perfect. It came packaged impeccable. I couldn't wait to get it out of the box and start using it. Below is a picture of the beauty that I received in the mail from Nicole Lee U.S.A. com.
Isn't this purse just gorgeous? It is very roomy as I like. It measures 18" L X 11 1/4" H X 8" W, and it has 2 very thick and sturdy handles to carry it in your hand or over your shoulder. The design of the Sade purse is awesome. It has a silver back ground lining in the front, silvertone hardware, with a huge button slip pocket in the front to store all your necessities. The lining of the purse is stunning with Nicole Lee U.S.A. all over it. It is a sateen material lining.

I fell in love with this gorgeous lining. I have a thing about purses, their colors, and linings. I like them to stand out so people can notice them. My Sade purse has a huge zipper compartment inside, with two slip pockets, one for your cell phone, and the other for whatever you desire to use it for. If you are one who has to have a slot for each item, then this purse is perfect for you. Did I say that it is very roomy too?

Not only does Nicole Lee U.S.A. carry handbags, they also have a collection of wallets, accessories, travel ware, and will soon have a line of foot wear, and let me tell you I can't wait to check that out. I can only imagine the colors and styles they will have. Of course a woman has to have a pair of shoes to match her handbag. That's a must! Men don't need to have shoes to match their tie. They sure don't fuss as much as we do. The joys of being a woman is pure fun, and of course all the shoes, handbags, and many other fetishes we have.

Below is a picture of reality T.V. star Melissa Rycroft Strickland with her Nicole Lee handbag. Melissa was a contestant on DWTS, and with Nicole Lee being a sponsor of the show, all of the contestants were able to score a gorgeous handbag. Melissa scored a gorgeous blue purse. I adored her when she wore her blue dance outfit. I bet she was sporting along with her gorgeous blue Nicole Lee handbag. Do you think that she is rocking her new bag?

I could go on and on all night talking about handbags. I have the largest collection of handbags, and I'm always looking to expand it. Thanks to Nicole Lee U.S.A. for giving me the chance to review their gorgeous handbag. I couldn't have been any happier when I received it. They are generously giving one of my readers a chance to win one also. How cool is that? How many of you would like to win one of these gorgeous roomy handbags? All you have to do is stop by Nicole Lee U.S.A and tell me which handbag you would pick ? You must also follow me via GFC. This is MANDATORY and must be done in order for other entries to count. You must be 18 to enter, and this contest is open to U.S. only!! Please leave your email with each entry so I can contact you should you win.

A Royal Wedding For Kim & Kris ??

So how many of you are getting ready to watch The Royal Wedding Of The Century??  I don't know about you, but the talk of Kim Kardaschian to wed beau Kris Humphries this Saturday is all over the Internet and T.V. In no way do I consider this a Royal Wedding of any kind. All she is is a reality star, one who is very rich and famous, and because of her very famous rich mother and all of her T.V. shows, and her appearances, the whole world knows Kim Kardaschian. Oh lets not forget what put her in the spot light many of years ago.

I don't know if you saw the proposal of Kris to Kim on T.V. or not, but he did it rose petals, and I mean there were like millions of them on her bed, and it spelled out Will You Marry Me?? As you can see from the pics he also had some ponies for his little princess on her special day. Imagine that for a proposal?? Oh let's not forget the ring that he gave her was valued at $2 million dollars. Heck, my whole house filled from top to bottom isn't worth that, or even half of it. To me I could be given a ring from a bubble gum machine, and as long as the love was there, and I was happy, the price or diamond cut wouldn't matter. A much as I love watching the Kardaschians each Sunday night, I'm amazed at the mansions they live in and just how rich their lives are. I like Khloe the best, oh let's not forget Bruce Jenner. They seem to have their heads on straight, and are not all about the $$$. Kim seems to act like a rich spoiled little brat at times, but hey if I had all that money, who knows what I'd be like. All I know is money don't buy happiness or health. It helps, but sometimes it just gets in the way.

When Kim & Kris got engaged, all you heard on the T.V and the internet was that they had went to some store in L.A. and filled out a bridal registry, and some of prices for the items they were asking was $3,000 for an ashtray, $12,000 for a table setting, $8,000 for silverware, and so on. What a joke!! Who on earth would ever ask for something of that value whether your rich or not? Kim's net worth was well over $46 million this past year, not including what her hubby to be is worth. I think they could afford this on their own if they wanted to buy it. When you ask for things with that high of value, I would imagine people would feel they have to buy it.Below is a picture of Sherri Shepherd from The View & her new hubby Sal. They tied the not on August 13, 2011.
Sherri told her co hosts at The View that she did not want wedding gifts. She asked that her guests donate money to charities that she and Sal had picked out.She said "I don't need four toasters"! To me that spoke volumes of Sherri's character asking her guests to donate charities. Heck I don't think Sherri made over $46 million like Kim K. did last year either. I'm so happy that Sherri has found happiness in her chocolate thunder Sal.If you watch The View you would hear Sheri use that name from time to time. Sherri was introduced to Sal through a friend, they had a nice courtship and now she is married to him. She says she couldn't ask or a better hubby, or for a better step dad to her son Jeffrey. I wish you both many years of happiness Sherri & Sal.
Now just for those of you who didn't get the chance to see this royal wedding take place on this very special day in history on July 29th, 1981, above is a photo of Prince Charles & Princess Diana. This is the real thing here!! With almost 1,000,000 people watching from the streets in London, 3,500 people filling the congregation, and over 750 million viewers watching the royal wedding on TV. This was the most watched television show in history ever! I would love to see the Kardashians try to even come close to this. I don't think it will happen! I remember watching Princess Di, at 20 years of age make her four minute walk down the aisle in her beautiful gown with a 25 foot long train. She was so shy, she was blushing, she was absolutely beautiful! I will never forget watching her wedding, nor will I forget watchng her son marry Kate this past year. All I can say is heaven gained an angel on the fateful day of August 31, 1997. Princess Di was such an amazing lady, one with such a huge heart, one that did everything possible to help others out. She would be so proud of her kids all grown up today if she were here.

I wish Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries all the luck in the world with your upcoming nuptuals. Live for today and not tomorrow. Relationships start with friendship first then love. My mom always told me that as long as we had our health, a roof over our head, and some food on the table, that we were in pretty decent shape. I love the fact that Bruce Jenner sets it straight for his girls. He doesn't want them to grow up thinking they can have whatever they want, without working for it. I hope your wedding is a memorable day, one that you will never forget Kim & Kris. I know you have been longing for this for along time now Kim, as you are always talking about marriage on TV. I still believe that your heart was with Reggie Bush, but I could be wrong. We will see what happens! Thanks for stopping by !! Tell me what you think about the upcoming nuptuals, and if you think that Kim has found Mr Right? I love hearing what other people have to say, so leave a comment if you'd like. Save my seat Kim & Kris. I wouldn't miss your wedding for the world!

Dancing With The Stars Anna Trebunskaya & Louis Van Amstel..OMG

I recently had the chance to see Anna Trebunskaya & Louis Van Amstel from Dancing With The Stars, and what a fun time I had. I could not believe they were standing right in front of me dancing. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge fan of Dancing With The Stars. I have been wanting to get to see the show live for years now, but am happy enough to watch them dance on Monday nights on TV. I'm having a bit of withdrawal right now since the show isn't on, but it will be back before I now it. Below is a video of Anna & Louis dancing. They were moving so fast my eyes were spinning. When they came out to sign autographs Louis had his camera catching everyone in the crowd. What a people person he was.
I have always been a huge fan of Louis & Anna, so seeing them in front of me was exciting. There were so many people there watching. Everyone was trying to get up front to get good pics. I wasn't that close to the stage, so my pics didn't come out as clear as I'd like them to. What I thought was neat was the guy that set this show up, he came out between costume changes and gave out tickets for dinner, and one person was lucky enough to win a dance instruction with Louis . I was praying they would pick me, but I wasn't lucky enough. Have you ever seen Louis dance? That man is precise, and a perfection, He shakes that booty like no tomorrow. The abs on him are so sexy too. I bet having a body like Louis & Anna isn't so easy to have. I'm sure they work very hard to have it. I would give an arm or leg to  look that perfect.
Lastly I will show you the lovely old me. I snuck right up in the front of line, as I didn't want to stand and wait hours to see them. I surely didn't take the best picture, as I look like I swallowed watermelon . I did not like this pose at all. I was so star struck when I got up there, that I kind of froze up a bit. I asked Anna how she felt about being a runner up with Evan L., and how they come back with such a positive attitude to do it all over again?? I also told her that her day would come very soon. She is due to win. I didn't have much time to chat, as they were rushing us along. The signed autographs for two hours. She asked me for my name, and signed my picture. Anna is more beautiful in person. She just radiates through the crowd. I then moved over to Louis, and let me tell you he was so welcoming, and chatty with me. I told him that I have a feeling that the upcoming season he would grab that mirror ball! He said "do you think", and I said most definitely! I also asked him if he wanted me to show him around the casino, as I knew my surroundings well. He unfortunately had to turn me down, as he and Anna had to meet their plane at 4 .m.. I gave them both a big hug, and thanked them for coming. I couldn't believe that I had just talked to Louis & Anna. I was on cloud nine that night, and of course I couldn't wait to get home to brag about my visit!

Thanks to Louis & Anna for coming to visit. Your dancing was unbelievably amazing. All I could say was perfection as I watched you dance. The way he dancing around with Anna was simply breathtaking. I cherish my visit with you, and I hope I will get the chance to see you dance someday on DWTS. Thanks for stopping by and reading my post. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

I was thrilled with my recent package that came in the mail with my 39 Dollar Sunglasses. Anyone who knows me and my style, know that I have to have a different pair of glasses to match each outfit. Once you get in my car, there are glasses everywhere. Everyone says to me do you have enough sunglasses? The answer would be no! The same goes for reading glasses to. I have some cheapos for reading books, and some top notch once for business. The Laguna Eyeglasses I received were the bomb! They came packaged perfectly right to me house, with the perfect strength for my vision. They are gorgeous!! They came in a nice hard came with a very soft bag which says 39 Dollar Sunglasses on it. Loving Pets Bella Bowls Review & Giveaway

I recently received these awesome Bella Bowls from Loving Pets and let me tell you my cats are digging them! I was sent two of the Artichoke Metallic Bowls, one for each of my lovely cats named Erica & Pretzel. Anyone who knows me knows that I have alot of love for cats, and am always spoiling them with treats, toys, and of course buying then new dishes to eat out of. My cats have bid appetites. One weighs about 9 pounds, and Erica the white one weighs 17 pounds the last time I had her at the vets. She packed on the pounds when she had her surgery to get fixed. Below are some pics of my fur babies.
So do you think my fur babies are enjoying their brand new Bella Bowls  from Loving Pets filled with Tuna Fish? The answer to that question would be yes, as they both emptied their bowls in no time. These bowls are awesome, not too small, and not too big! They are the perfect size for my cats, and they are very durable too!  Loving Pets has a huge variety of pet items from Bella Canisters  to Dollar Treats, and Natural Rawhide Dog Treats. If your an animal lover then Loving Pets is the purrrfect place to shop at. You can find the nearest store locator by clicking here. Loving Pets is based out of New Jersey. I just have to show you one of my favorite cat pics below.
Now isn't that the cutest picture ever? Erica is hard at work licking her chops . You know what is pretty amazing about Loving Pets? They have not only given me bowls to review for my precious furr babies, they are giving my readers to win the same same showed in picture also? How cool is that? This is the closest my two cats get next to each other. The tiger cat is moody and don't like to be bothered by any one but me. Oh yeah, she didn't appreciate me bringing the other one home after it was just her and I for five years. She is a hisser too.

The Misery Is Almost Over...

With Season 7 of The Bachelorette coming to an end tonight, I can't be much happier than  am now. This season has not been the best by far, and Ashley Hebert just seems plain old boring and redundant to me. With all the drama about Bentley a.k.a douche bag, every time I heard that mans name mentioned on the show, or on a preview of the show, I bout wanted to scream, or puke !! Bentley sure scores right up there in the top three worse Bachelors along with Jake & Brad ! She was warned about  that idiot right from the get go from Michele Money, but instead of taking the advice to heart, she decided to be a darn fool and get to know him. Oh she got to know him alright, and boo hoo her heart got broken! That's what happens when you keep losers like Bentley around Ashley! I know it sounds a bit rough, but week after week hearing about him, and he still is getting attention, well, at least he did on the Men Tell All the other night, but the loser that he is declined to be on the show. Geese Louise, I wonder why??

So who do you think Ashley will pick to be her husband, or do you think she will pull  Brad Womack number and not pick anyone at all? My guess would be JP! I had him picked out the first night on the show. I thought he was a very kind gentlemen, who cared about others feelings, not to say that he's so darn handsome too. Another pick of mine from the get go was Ryan, who she sent home before the hometown dates. Everyone thought that Ryan was scheming, but I didn't feel that. I just think that this was his way of dealing with the situation.I never considered him a snake like some of the men in the house did. I loved JP throughout the show. Heck, I was saying that if Ashley didn't want him that I would gladly take him. A man of his character don't come around too often like that.

So who will Ashley pick? Will she pick the JP, the construction guy, the one she has had her eye on from the get go, or will she pick the business guy Ben? We shall know the answer to that in less than two hours. I hope she makes the right choice, the one that her heart is telling her to choose. When your in love, you can tell what is the right choice for you. From the  previews what have been sown on TV, it is looking like tonight will be full of drama. I just can't wait.

As I said before, I'm not to fond of the cast this season, as it has been boring and sometimes painful for me to watch, so with it coming to an end, and finding out whether Ashley finds love or not, I will sit her and patiently wait. All I know is that  I can't wait for my favorite show  Dancing With The Stars to come back on. I am having some serious withdrawals not watching it every Monday night. Please hurry back and get on TV, so I can smile, sing and dance every Monday night. Don't laugh at me now, that is exactly what I do when it's on. Alright, I better get watching the show, so I can see if I can figure out what is really going to happen. Are you watching it, and have you been following along the whole season? Tell me what you think of this season, and Ashley's final choice to be her husband? Thanks for stopping by, and as always, I have the best followers ever. I hope to see you around again soon.
