When I came across this company called Savvycents, and I took a look at the products they carry, I knew that I just had to own one. Not only did I love the colors , I also loved the sytle and the ability it gives to help one keep organized. I must admit that I'm not the most organized gal , and I'm always reaching in my purse to find something, and I can't find it. I keep saying that I will get a new wallet to help me keep things organize, but once I came across Savvycents, I didn't have to look any further.
Savvycents was formed in January of 2009, when Melinda the President and Founder, read a book about becoming debt free & following the cash envelope system of budgeting. Frustrated with envelopes and wallet disorganization, she decided to create a wallet that would help her seperate cash, coupons, drivers license, and credit cards and more. Melinda created something that every woman would want to have, and it's a beauty of a wallet if I must say.
The Savvycents Wallet is 8 " in Length X 4" in Height. This wallet is very functionble .It has a zip around closure, and it comes with labels and file cards to seperate all of your papers. The labels are place on the file card where you want your items to go. The walet also comes with spare labels for your anything extra you may want to store. The Savvycents Wallet has six credit card slots ,and a spot for your license, and a store card. It also has room for your checkbook & pen, and has a zipper compartment for your change.
Not only is The Savvy Cents Wallet functionable and Savvy if I must say, it also comes in some hot great colors like red, black and pink, and is patent leather.I can't tell you how much I love this wallet. I have been waiting to find somethig that would catch my eye, and serve many purposes, and The Savvycents Wallet did just that for me. You can find a Savvy Scents store locator by clicking here, or you can purchase one at at the online store for $28.00. I was very impressed with wallet and all the purposes tht it serves, and the color is amazingly awesome!! This would make the perfect gift for a friend or family member, and would help keep smeone organized. If you know someone that is a coupon clipper then this is a must have! You can keep your coupons separated from everythin else. You will also know where to find them thanks to the labels that comes with the wallet.
Savvy cents has graciously offered one of my readers to win one of these gorgeous wallets. All you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter entry form. You must complete the MANDATORY entries first. I do check. Please leave an email with each entry. This contest is open to U.S. only & you must be 18 to enter. Good Luck to all!!

Stop Pain Review & Giveaway - Ends 3/1/12
I had never heard of Stop Pain Cold until recently, and anyone who knows me, knows that I'm constantly in pain having recent back surgery. I will try any product out there if it can help relieve pain. Thanks to Stop Pain Cold, I was recently sent a few of there products to try out. I was so happy when the package arrived, and I couldn't wait to try it out.
Stop Pain Cold has been around since 1991, and is manufactured and marketed by Troy Health Care, LLC in Pennsylvania. Their mission is to help people with pain, so they can lead a much more healthier & richer lifestyle. Stop Pain Cold has a variety of products from Gel, to Roll On and Spray. I was lucky enough to receive the Spray & and the Roll On. The main ingredient in Stop Pain Cold products is Menthol, which is used as an Analgesic to relieve Arthritis, Sprains, Bruising, Back Pain , Muscle Aches and so much more.
The Stop Pain Cold worked fairly well for me. I rubbed it on my surgical site from my back surgery, and I did feel somewhat soothed shortly after I applied it. Nothing in the world would ever take my pain away, but as I said before, I'm open to try any product that could help me. The one thing that I really loved about this product is that it did NOT smell like some of the other products out there. It had a very light scent which was fine for me. I had to remind myself not to use the Stop Pain Cold Roll On too often. You can use it up to four times a day as needed.
The Stop Pain Cold Spray was a nice and easy product to use as well. All you have to do is spray it on the area where your pain is , which I did to my shoulder, and it seemed to help instantly. I had a shoulder repair a few years back, and with the cold weather we are having, my shoulder has been acting up lately. Thanks to Stop Pain Cold, my shoulder was feeling very soothed after spraying it with Stop Pain Cold Spray. I was in heaven. One thing I do is use heat often to my back & neck, and after I applied the spray, I went and sat down and applied heat. This is a No No. My back started burning within seconds, so don't apply heat after using Stop Pain Cold products.
Stop Pain can be purchased in your local CVS, Walgreen's, Rite Aid, and also your local Walmart, and Stop & Shop. It is very reasonable in price starting at $5.99 and up to $12.99. When your in pain as I am daily, you can't put a price on your health.
Not only did Stop Pain Cold give me the chance try their products, they are also giving one of my readers a chance to try it also. All you have to do is Like Stop Pain on FB. You must follow me on GFC too. These entries are MANDATORY , and I do check, so please make sure they are done. This is open to U.S. only, and you must be 18 to enter. Include an email with your entries, so I can contact you should you win. Good Luck to all!!

Whitney Houston Laid To Rest In Newark, NJ
I'm grief stricken with pain day and night. Sometimes I have to ask my self if this is real or not, and it is. How could we loose yet another legend, a voice like no other, such a powerful performer, who was on top of the world, at such a young age?? I still think about Michael Jackson and the pain that the world went through with the loss of him, and here we are going through it all over again with Whitney.
Whitney Houston was one heck of a gorgeous lady. Not only could she sing like there was no tomorrow, she was breath taking beautiful inside and out. I'm not sure why she died, and don't know if I will ever know or understand it, all I can say is that god must have needed another angel, and this is why he called Whitney home. Her funeral service was beautiful. I don't know if anyone saw it or not, but it was on live stream, so I watched it from the computer. Hearing the eloquent speech that Kevin Costner made, hearing Alicia Keys sing her heart out, and hearing Whitney's friends eulogize her was simply touching. I bet she was smiling down, and would have been happy this was all for her. The church was crowded, the atmosphere was so full of energy. I thought it would be alot of people crying, but it was just the opposite. They were clapping, singing, and swaying each and every one of them. It was simply amazing and I was touched!
What really has me concerned with Whitney's passing is her daughter. I have not seen her, nor did I get a glimpse of her today at the funeral. I pray to god that she is getting by and doing the best she can. I hope that with her mom's passing that this will be a learning experience in life. As I said before, I don't know how she died, but we do know that she had issues with drugs. We all know that drugs are bad, and they kill. I pray that her daughter will not have anything to do with drugs at all. She is such a beautiful gal just like her mommy. I wish I could hug Bobbi Kristina, and tell her to remember all of the good times she had with her mom. This is what will help her get by in life. I know she will have some bad days, but remember your mom is not suffering and in a much better place. You will see her again someday!
If I could use a few words to describe Whitney, they would be entertaining, amazing and most of all powerful, as this is what I thought of her when I heard her sing. I had never ever heard another soul sing like Whitney ever. There were alot of wanna bees, but only one Whitney!! You will be loved and missed so much Whitney!! You and your music will live on forever in my heart and soul. Whenever I'm having a moment, I will listen to one of your many #1 hits, and I will be smiling in no time, because this is what you and your music made me do! Love you Whitney! Now Rest In Peace !!!

Happy Valentine's Day To You !!
Most of you who know me, know that I adore cats, and what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day, then to wish you a awesome day from my cats and myself. What is on your agenda today? DO you normally do anything special on Valentine's Day with your loved one, and or your family? I do alot of baking, and hand out treats to all of my family and friends. I have been doing this for years, and everyone loves it. I make cupcakes, cakes, candy, you name it, I make it.
I had to take a trip to the grocery store today for some eggs, and a few other things, and the card section at Stop & Shop was full. There must have been at least 25 people digging for the perfect card. I could never handle all that jumping in front of someone for a card for my loved one. I buy my cards way ahead of time, but I have always wondered why on earth would people wait until the day before to shop? I know, some people have hectic schedules and all, but common. There isn't a good selection of cards the day before Valentine's Day. One place I always find nice cards for cheap is at the Dollar Store. You can get 2 for a $1.00, and they are decent cards too.I put alot of time into my cards, as I look for the perfect verse on it.
Do your kids still have a Valentine's Day party at school? I know back when I went to grade school, we always had paper bags up in the front of the classroom taped to the chalk board, and on Valentine's Day when you entered the room, you dropped the card in the bag for whoever you brought a Valentine's Card for.I remember my second grade teacher,as she would always let us celebrate with our classmates with yummy snacks. Boy , were those days the best. I'm not even sure if they do that anymore in school, as my kid is grown up now. The last I knew, they stopped all the celebrating in school because of religions. Ba Hum Bug to that. Let the kids have fun, and enjoy their younger years. Make memories that will last a life time!!
Wishing everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day today!! Whatever you do, I hope you have fun, whether your going out for a nice dinner, or you might be cooking a nice dinner at home. I hope you have alot of fun. Valentine's Day is a special day for loved ones, and it's always special to see how men feel about their women, and vice versa. Are you a chocolate girl, a jewelry girl, or a lingerie gal? Who doesn't like a nice old box of Russel Stovers candy?? Gifts on Valentine's don't really mean that much to me. Having my kid make me a card, and color it nicely would always put a huge smile on my face. It was priceless, and it didn't cost me a penny.

Whatever you do this Valentine's Day, try to keep Whitney Houston & her family in your prayers. Her daughter has had two trips to the hospital for stress. My heart is broken over her passing.. I wish it was a dream, and that I could snap out of it, but that is not the case. I know that Whitney is resting in peace, and smiling down on all of us. Rest easy girl!!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY !!!!

Another Legend Lost But Not Forgotten RIP Whitney Houston 8/09/63-2/11/12
I write this with a very sad heart on the passing of one of the best singers of all time, Whitney Houston!! When I heard of the news last night, at first I thought it might be just a bad rumor, but unfortunately it wasn't. As I sit here an listen to Whitney's songs, many of which were number one hits, my eyes are filled with tears, and my heart is heavy. I can't fathom the loss of another legend gone way too soon before her time. All I can say is that god must have needed another angel, because that is what Whitney Houston was.
Look at this beautiful talented lady in her day. Whitney was a 6 x Grammy winner, 2 x Emmy Winner, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 AMA Awards, and many more. I was a teen back in the 80's when I heard of Whitney's music. The first song that I remember, and fell in love with was "The Greatest Love Of All". Back in the days I used to go out to pubs which had karaoke on different nights of the week, and all I would sing is Whitney Houston songs. Where they easy?? Of course not!! I don't think that anyone in the world could ever compare to Whitney! She was one of a kind, and everyone loved her music. Thanks to Clive Davis, Whitney had the most awesome mentor ever, and if she was going to make it in the music industry, she would surely make it with Clive Davis. I can't imagine how he must be feeling to lose such an icon, and a best friend to him especially on the night before the Grammy Awards. This is where it all began for the lovely Whitney Houston. As Clive said, Whitney would have wanted the show to go on, so "Let the music begin". Below is Whitney performing the National Anthem back in 1991. This was the best performance by an artist, and still is till this day. Take a moment to listen to it.
I have listened to this over and over again since last night, and I can't believe how perfectly she sang this beautiful song. Whitney Houston had it, and she gave it when singing this song. Listen to the crowd cheer her on when she was done. This was by far one of her best performances ever. Whitney will always be remembered for this, and her any other number one hits. A few of my favorite were The Greatest Love Of All & One Moment In Time, I Wanna Dance With Somebody. I could go on and on. Her music was just magical. We really lost a legend. I will always remember her and her music.
One thing we must remember is that a daughter lost her mother & and a mother lost her daughter. Rumors are swirling all over the Internet and television about the cause of her death, and people are saying that Bobbi Brown brought her down. I must say this is NOT the time to speculate this. A family has just lost their loved one.Whatever her problems were, one thing I can say is that she loved her daughter Bobbi Kristina so much. I saw them together many of times in photos, and Bobbi Brown was there also. They were only married for five years, but it seemed that they did what was right for their daughter. She looked happy in the photos. This is not the time to leave nasty comments about anyone. If you don't have anything nice to say, then please keep it to yourself!!
I thought my heart was broken when we lost Micheal Jackson way to soon at the age of 51. I was devastated on his loss. I had seen him in concert, and loved his music. I didn't have the chance to see Whitney in concert, but I felt when I listened to her music that I was sitting right there at her concert. This is what her music did to me. It sucked me right in and I loved the heck out of it! My heart is broken today Whitney, along with millions of your fans. You were the bomb, the Diva, you sang your heart out Whitney! My sympathy goes out to your family, especially your daughter Bobbi Kristina & your mother. I can't imagine how she must be feeling knowing that she lost her best friend. I'm sure she will hold onto all the memories that you made with her. God must have had better plans for you Whitney, this is why he called you home. Your an angel, and you will never be forgotten. Thank you for some of the best music I have ever heard in my life. I will always remember the strong, and most talented Whitney Houston! God Bless you and your family! May you RIP !!

Superbowl XLVI ... What A Game It Was
What a game it was last night. What a tough loss for the Patriots to watch. Being a Patriots fan, I thought for sure they would pull this game off for sure. I hold onto hope until the last few minutes of the game, however not everyone is the same as me. I sat in a house last night and had a blast with a bunch of friends, stuffing my face and being merry. Where did you watch the Super Bowl?
Congratulations to the New York Giants for winning the Super Bowl.I have to say that it was an awesome game, and the best playing team won, and this is coming from a Patriots fan remember. Heck, when Brady threw the ball and it was dropped it seemed like time after time, well, how are you supposed to win a game like that?? Your not!!
Now this is what sportsmanship is all about guys and gals! There has to be a winner in every game, and to go out and congratulate the winning team, is the right thing to do, so kudos to Brady for that. Football has never really been a favorite game of mine, as I am a huge Red Sox fan, bu I do watch The Pats wen they are playing because everyone in the house does. Onto a funnier note below.
I watch Jimmy Kimmel live every night, and from time to time he asks his audience to do funny stuff, like wrap a bad gift and give it to someone, or eat all of your kids Halloween candy, but this week was to shut the T.V. off during a crucial moment in the game, which I did, and boy was I almost killed for that. Click on the link below to watch the video I took. It was a bit dark, but still it was hilarious. I almost about pissed my pants when this happen. Little did I know that they were watching Direct T.V., and I unplugged it right from the wall, so the T.V. had to reload starting from zero %, and it took almost 12 minutes to do. I did not plan to have this happen, but dang they were pissed just a bit.
To make matters worse the Patriots lost to the Giants, due to their mistakes. Game was over and I was headed home. I sure had a great laugh all the way home, after what I did. Hey guys and gals, there is always next year, and it's just a game. Remember there are people dying everyday in this world, so keep that in mind. I don't like to see people almost have a heart attack over a game. Anyways, Congrats to The Giants on a game well played. There is always next year Patriots.
Cheers,
