Money Savvy Pig Savings Bank Review & Giveaway

I recently received the Money Savvy Pig Savings Bank to review, and I was  thrilled with it. I had never seen anything like this before, so I was loving the idea for a smart way to teach your kids how to save money, and with the Money Savvy Pig Bank you can do this. The Money Savvy Pig Bank comes in five colors, red, blue, pink, green & purple, and it also comes in platinum.

The Money Savvy Pig Bank was invented in 1999, by Susan Beacham and her husband Michael. Susan worked in banking, and saw that most of her clients had a tough time dealing with the basic concepts of personal finance, so in 1999, she and her husband decided to change that, and this is how the Money Savvy Pig Bank came along.

The Money Savvy Pink Bank  comes with stickers so you can label each of four chambersOne is for saving, one is for spending, one is for investing and one is for donating. The  Money Savvy Pig Bank  also comes with a sheet of stickers, so you can decide what you want to save for. It could be a car, it could be college, food, shoes, whatever you want it to be.  The chambers are easily opened on the bottom of the bank seen below.

All you have to do is turn them to the right, and voila, they open!! The money gets out through on top depending on which section you want it in. I have always liked to save my money, and have taught my child to as well, but this bank is the bomb!!  What a great way to teach children ages 4-11, how to save, spend, invest and donate as they are growing up. I only wish someone has sat me down when I was the appropriate age, and taught me how to save and invest. The Money Savvy Pig Bank has been distributed all over the globe, and the Money Savvy Kids Basic Personal Finance Curriculum is being taught in school districts, including Canada and Europe. My hat goes off to Susan ans her husband Michael for coming up with such an awesome teaching product. With the Money Savvy Pig Bank, we can teach our future generation how to save, and invest, and what this can do for you. You'd be surprised how much change and dollars can add up so quickly. I know I like to fill things up, so myself and my niece will be filling this cute little Money Savvy Pig Bank together.

Money Savvy Generation also carries banks in football, and the cow. They also carry books, games ,videos & spare sticker sheets if you run out. You can check out the store locater on the left hand side of their blog, and it tells you where you can find the products in your state. You can also shop online by clicking here. GFC FOLLOWER ANDI LEANED THIS FOR THE SITE.... My dream is to teach money management basics to elementary school aged children, a segment of our educational system virtually untouched because of the perceived complexity of the subject matter. Stated differently, I wanted to get "out in front" of money management behavior before bad habits set in. To start to make my dream come true I went into my local schools on a volunteer basis to teach my "Mrs. Money Talks Money" eight week curriculum. Armed with my Money Savvy Pig and motivating experiences with these school children, along with the responsibility I felt toward my own children, the Money Savvy Kids Basic Personal Finance Curriculum came into existence

I learned that they teach at a very young age the concept of saving and investing. Along with what is a fair share to keep for yourself to spend.
