Barefoot In November Is A Must Read Memoir!! You Won't Put It Down!!
I just have to share this great news with all my readers. My cousin Ben Carey, just released his Memoir Barefoot In November. It is available on Amazon for $14.95. This is a story about a young man who was living the American Dream, working , raising a family, feeling great and one day was faced with life threatining news that he had an Aortic Aneursym at age 37. This was the very same diagnosis that took the life of the very funny John Ritter.
Ben was about to become a father for the third time when faced with this life changing diagnosis. He couldn't put this off, as the doctor told him that he needed open heart surgery to repair this. His life would change at that very moment. Inside his Memoir he talks about the roller coaster of a ride this was, and how his friends and family helped him make it through this. Ben was a very athletic, and in shape guy. He worked out all the time, liked to run, and even ate healthy. How could this be happening to him? His brother had faced heart problems at birth , was this genetic?
I read this book, and let me tell you, I couldn't put it down. This Memoir is a must read for all. It goes to show you that your life could change in a matter of a minute. Ben was lucky to have survived this , but there are many that don't. You don't get a warning with this! Be proactive!! If you don't feel right, having chest pain, or you know something isn't right, then go to get it checked. Thanks to Ben's wife Nicole for pushing him to go to the doctors as he was feeling fatigued more than usual. If she didn't push him to go get this checked, Ben's doctor told him that he would have been dead in less than a month. A year later after surgery, Ben has recovered amazingly well, and him and his wife Nicole ran the NY City Marathon. I'm thinking this was about 26 miles that him and his wife ran. How awesome is that?? After having open heart surgery, a year later your running a marathon. Along side of Ben and Nicole was Dr. Allan Stewart, his surgeon who performed his open heart surgery. I felt that Ben was in great hands. I can't tell you how extremely proud I am of him and his wife!!
This book will not only inspire you, but will give you some laughs of Ben's life, and just how he see's things. I know I chuckled quite a few times. Heck if I was told I needed open heart surgery, I would say the "F" word too. Please pick a copy of this amazng Memoir up at Amazon.com today. It could save your life. You will be happy you did. Thanks for stopping by here !! I appreciate all of your support!! Have a great day!! You are the best followers anyone could ask for.
Until next time,
