I was devastated to hear of Bret Michael's re admittance to the hospital today. Brett was rushed back to the hospital with stroke symptoms, and after a work up was done, it was confirmed that he had a TIA which is known as a Trans Ischemic Attack & a hole in his heart. Bret recently underwent appendectomy surgery on April 21, 2010, and was sent home in stable condition to be readmitted nine days later with a sub arachnoid hemorrhage. After a lengthy stay in the hospital he was released to a rehab center.
Bret is a finalist on Celebrity Apprentice and is expected to appear on the finale this upcoming Sunday. I have become very fond of Bret watching him each week on Celebrity Apprentice, and his willingness to be a team player and do whatever it takes for his team to claim a victory and raise money for his charity which is diabetes ! I much rather would have seen him in the finale with Sharon Osbourne or Curtis Stone, but Mr. Trump has chosen Holly Robinson -Peete to be in the finale with him, as she has been a strong player and won the most money for her charity which is autism.
I'm praying that his doctors have found the cause of his stroke , and that he gets the proper medical attention that he needs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will be present for the finale this Sunday, but if he isn't able to, I will understand. Right now I want Bret to do whatever it takes to get stronger, and to get him home to his family. He has two young daughters that need their daddy. Bret just appeared on the Oprah Show yesterday with his oldest daughter Raine. Get well Bret! The world is a better place with you in it!!
