Winner Of American Idol Season 9

Congratulations to Lee DeWyze on winning American Idol Season 9. All of the hours that I spent voting have finally paid off for you. You & Aaron Kelly were my favorites. I can't wait to buy your album when it comes out. Congrats to you and Crystal both on such an AMAZING(Lee's favorite word) season. The both of you deserved to win, but only one person could, and that was you Lee. You won the hearts of millions of fans. You have grown so much since the first audition on Amercian Idol, where you were just a shy young man, who worked in a paint store , and would do whatever it took to make your life better . You are what Amercian Idol is all about Lee!! I don't think you'll be going back to the paint store any time soon will you? I was so amazed at your perormances on finale night , with Chicago & Joe Cocker, and then when you belted out your victory song, "Beautiful Day". Well, Lee it was a beautiful day and Thank you for making this such a terrific season. My favorite highlight of the night besides you winning was when Bret Michaels came out on the stage to sing with Casey. OMG!! I was in heaven. After all that Bret has overcome with his health and then to win Celebrity Apprentice this past weekend. It brought tears to my eyes !! I bet Casey is still shaking his head about it too. The look on your face was priceless when Ryan Seacrest called your name. Your hard work has all paid off, so get out there now and work real hard to make some great music, and you can bet I will be in line to buy your first CD. I'm hoping that I get to see you on tour with American Idol too.

Speedy Recovery to Bret Michaels

I was devastated to hear of Bret Michael's re admittance to the hospital today. Brett was rushed back to the hospital with stroke symptoms, and after a work up was done, it was confirmed that he had a TIA which is known as a Trans Ischemic Attack & a hole in his heart. Bret recently underwent appendectomy surgery on April 21, 2010, and was sent home in stable condition to be readmitted nine days later with a sub arachnoid hemorrhage. After a lengthy stay in the hospital he was released to a rehab center.

Bret is a finalist on Celebrity Apprentice and is expected to appear on the finale this upcoming Sunday. I have become very fond of Bret watching him each week on Celebrity Apprentice, and his willingness to be a team player and do whatever it takes for his team to claim a victory and raise money for his charity which is diabetes ! I much rather would have seen him in the finale with Sharon Osbourne or Curtis Stone, but Mr. Trump has chosen Holly Robinson -Peete to be in the finale with him, as she has been a strong player and won the most money for her charity which is autism.

I'm praying that his doctors have found the cause of his stroke , and that he gets the proper medical attention that he needs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will be present for the finale this Sunday, but if he isn't able to, I will understand. Right now I want Bret to do whatever it takes to get stronger, and to get him home to his family. He has two young daughters that need their daddy. Bret just appeared on the Oprah Show yesterday with his oldest daughter Raine. Get well Bret! The world is a better place with you in it!! Send Bret some love on twitter or facebook to wish him a speedy recovery. I'm sure he would appreciate it!!

Aaron Kelly The Next American Idol

When I first heard of this kid named Aaron Kelly, from PA, and heard him audition on American Idol, I was hooked! He showed America how someone can go through such tough times and rise above it all. He was being faced to live in foster care, and his Aunt, who is in the audience with him every week, would not have that, so she adopted him , and he became her son. What a great person to do something like this, and look at the amazing young man he has become!! He started singing when he was nine years old in talent shows, and at local fairs and just blossomed from there.

When I hear Aaron sing he puts me in another world. I love listening to his vocals. He is one darn talented kid. He kind of sounds a bit like Lone Star to me. To have a voice like he does at his sweet young age of 17, this kid has a very bright future in front of him, and I will be a part of it where ever he ends up. I also love Lee DeWyze too. That man can sing and I wouldn't really mind if either one of these two won, but after what Aaron has rose above, it would great to see him win this competition. I found this picture of Aaron when he was younger and I just had to post it. Imagine what he sounded like when he was nine years old?? I bet he was amazing! Each and every week my votes go for Lee & Aaron. I absolutely can see Aaron in the final three, and hopefully in the finale! American Idol airs on Fox on Tuesday & Wednesday night. Please watch Aaron, and vote for him on Tuesday night! I know we can make this happen. Let's make this kid that just showed up to audition for American Idol and never had any idea he would go this far , win this!! He has what it takes to win !! Let's keep him in the competition.
