Yankee Candle "Love My Fans" Giveaway

This giveaway is because I adore my fans so much, and how to show it, but with something most women love, and that is candles. I love Yankee Candles so much. I have them burning in my house each day of the week. A couple of my favorite scents are Honeydew Melon & Macintosh. Not only do I burn candles, I have room fragrances in a few rooms also. Ben The Bachelor Is Boring It Seems

I have a question to ask all of you Bachelor fans out there?? Is it me or does this season seem to be the most boring ever? I wasn't really fond of him last season on The Bachelorette with Ashley Hebert. He seems friendly and all but very boring!!. It seems like he has some walls up or something. I know after being let down at the alter last season was very tough on him and all, but common for gosh sakes. He has 25 attractive women in front of him( one's a bitch), and he seems like dud!

Look at all of these hot mama's pictured in the photo here, and who does Ben seem to flock after? The crazy one that's who!! Her name would be Courtney, and she's friendly face to face with him, but behind his back, she is very immature and caniving. This is always what happens on these reality shows. The drama queens stay, and the good girls go home way to soon. It's all about ratings and I'm 100% sure of that! Heck, even a grandma came to the show with her granddaughter , they arrived on a horse also.

I think I would rather see Ben get hooked up with Grandma instead of some of the rest of the wanna bees. They all love Ben. They all want a rose. They all want to win his heart over, They all want more T.V. time, and they all want the big prize in the end which is Ben!! How many relationships seem to last these days from the Bachelor & Bachlorette? I can think of one, maybe two if you count the Douche Bag that picked his second choice after he humiliated the beautiful and lovely Melissa Rycroft on national television. She got the last laugh though. She has had so much good come her way since this including getting married, having a beautiful baby girl, and host talk shows, and now a show of her own. Not doing so bad is she?

Who ever he picks I'm sure will be happy. I would love to see him with Casey B. They make a nice match, but something is telling me that he will pick someone who isn't right for him. Don't just pick for looks Ben. Get the whole package if ya know what I mean. What are your thoughts about this boring season? Are you as bored to death as I am?? I much rather would have seen that cutie Ryan be the Bachelor, but oh well. It is what it is! I just can't wait for my Celebrity Apprentice and DWTS to start airing again, and I will be in heaven again. Thanks for stopping by! I love reading your comments too!!

Seneca Farms Oatmeal Review & Giveaway

Each morning you should start your day off with a nice balanced breakfast, and since I'm a huge breakfast person, and I was given the chance to try out this new oatmeal from Seneca Farms, I had to jump on it quick. I always have oatmeal in my house at all times. Myself, and my son love to eat oatmeal. Apple & Cinnamon is our favorite I had never sen or heard of an oatmeal coming in an already to eat cup like this. All you needed to do was zap it for a minute or so, and voila, your oatmeal is done and ready to be eaten! How cool is that??

One of the oatmeal's I received was the Cranberry Apple & Maple & Brown Sugar. I was a bit hesitant first about trying this at first , since it was already cooked and all it needed was to be warmed up, but much to my surprise, it was pretty darn good. I thought the cranberries would be tart, and ruin the taste a bit, but that was not the case at all. I have to give mad props to Seneca Farms for coming up with such an easy way to have breakfast, and a tasty breakfast also. If your in a hurry, this is your answer!

Seneca Farms Oatmeal is not only tasty, it is pretty affordable and
healthy to eat , as you can see by looking at the diagram on the right hand side. Each cup of Oatmeal has 1 gm of fat, less than 50mg of sodium, zero cholesterol and only 160 calories per serving. It makes you want more!!

T.G.I.F. Friday The 13th !!!

It's Friday the 13th, Oh My!! What's planned on this Friday the 13th for you?? Are you superstitious ?? I think I am a bit!! I can't tell exactly when it started, but I know it was way back when, and I was out and about, and I was involved in an accident. It wasn't a bad accident, but it still happened, so all these years later , I have always been superstitious about going out anywhere on Friday the 13th!! What is your theory on this? Do you think bad things can happen on Friday the 13th?? I know they did to me many years ago, so I have always just stayed put at home, and I didn't have to worry about anything bad happening.

I have always enjoyed watching the Friday the 13th movies when Friday the 13th came around, which didn't happen often, but every now and then one would pop up. Do you like to watch scary movies with your family? I do, but some of them make me have nightmares for goodness sakes.. My son would always tell say "Mom, it's only a movie, and not real". I guess he was right.

Sorry I've Been Missing In Action Lately

I want to apologize to my followers for me being missing in action lately. Giveaways are slow for me since the Christmas Holiday, but I'm trying hard to get some great products to review , and of course giveaway to you! Lately my hands have been full. I recently had to go to a funeral for a good friends Mom. She lived a lovely life , and was 86 at her passing. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease several years back, and fought right up until the end. She was such a wonderful lady, and will be missed terribly! It's so hard to console the family that just lost a very dear person. What does one say to them?

My mother has Alzheimer's Disease too, and let me tell you, it is one of the toughest things to watch someone you love go through. Alzheimer's Disease slowly attacks your brain, and you forget things as you go. Some people can deal with this for years and others have a shorter life. I pray to god each day and Thank god for giving me another day with Mom. It's hard to care for someone you love, but this is what god had planned for me I guess.

If I could have one wish it would be to have my mom back, the mom that raised me and taught me right from wrong, the mom that helped me when I was down, the mom that cared for me when I was sick, the mom that helped with me my school work. I know it's impossible for this wish, as this is the cards she was dealt. I do my best, spend as much time with her, but most of all, put a huge smile on her face! When she visits me , all she wants to do is hear Kenny Rogers, enjoy a nice cup of Java, and of course have a few oatmeal cookies. She knows all the words to his music to. I recently took her to see him in concert right before Christmas. She loved it!

Happy New Years To All !!

Hi Folks! I know it's a bit late, but better late than never I guess. I just wanted to wish all of my followers and friends a very Happy New Years!!! Did you do anything special this year to celebrate the New Year? If so, were you out , or did you stay home and have a party? I used to go out many moons ago, but when I became a mother, those days were long gone. I knew that I was safer at home with my family verses being out on the road. Being out on the road late at night when others are coming and going from bar to bar and house parties is not the smartest thing to do to me. If your having a party and people are drinking, then take the keys and have them sleep over. Atleast you know they are safe with you.

Each year I watch the news on New Years Eve and day, and the cops talk about how many speeding tickets, DUI's , accidents, and if there was any fatalities. It pains me very much to hear when this happens. When I awoke this morning I had looked at the paper and the first thing I noticed was a car accident, with three people, and one who was ejected and killed,and the other two injured when their car hit a tree. This happen in the wee hours of the night. My heart just broke in pieces when I heard of this. I sank when I even thought of the parents getting that news. No matter how many times we tell our kids to make the right choices, they still like to be their own person, and make choices on their own.

On to resolutions for the New Years.. Did you make any, or will you be attempting to make any New Years resolutions? I usually do each year, but it always don't work out as I plan it. I will try my best with dieting this year,as I really need to shed some pounds since my back surgery. I pray that I have good luck with this. I also am going to think about me this year. I'm always the care taker and mother to everyone I know, and sometimes forget to care about my self. This year I will try and put myself first. I hope each and everyone of you have a terrific New Year. I hope lots of exciting things happen. I also hope for good health to you all. God Bless you, and have a very Happy New Years!!

Its Almost Here.. 2012

Can you believe that in two more days the year 2012 will be here? Where on earth has this year gone ask myself? The year 2011 has been a year full of ups an downs for me with the highlight watching my son graduate from high school. Good gosh, I remember taking him for walks in the park, bringing him to see Santa, and his very first day of kindergarten when I cried for hours when he stepped on that very big yellow bus for the first time ever. I haven't a clue where on earth this year has gone?

Having back surgery and all the grueling therapy and recovery took a good part of my year from me. I had heard from many that it would be a bitch of a recovery, and that it was! I also spent this pass year watching my mom deteriorate from Alzheimer's Disease. What a terrible disease it is. All she wants to do is come to my house an listen to Kenny Rogers music, and that she does. I just took her to see him a few weeks ago. What a wonderful Christmas show he put on.I think this was like my 20th or more times seeing him. I have enjoyed each and every time.

I have also had bit of tough time watching my son grow,and it seems like he never wants to be around me anymore. All my friends tell me this is what happens when they get in the teen years. We have always been close, so this is bit new for me, I'm trying to go back when I was a teen and think of what it was like for me?? All I know is that things were much different back then !! I hear that when they turn 20 or so, that hey start to appreciate you a bit more. I guess will wait and see..

What has 2011 been like for you? I hope it has been a good year for you all. With all of the tragedies in the pass year, with some just recently like the lady from Stamford CT, losing her whole family in a fire, just how could she go on? She lost her whole darn family, including 3 kids and her parents on Christmas Day. When I hear of this stuff, just thank the good lord for letting me wake up each day, and for giving me another chance to be a mother to my son,, and a daughter to my mom, and a great friend to many..I pray for everyone going through a difficult time in their life, and I wish for a very happy, healthy and wealthy New Year!

I'm going in to 2012 with a whole different attitude! I will lose this weight that I have put on over the past few years while recovering from my surgeries! I will keep the attitude that things happen in life for a reason. I will be a good friend to all of my friends, and be there for them when needed! I will be a good mother to my son,and watch him grow into the fine young man that he is. I will cherish each and very day that god gives me with my mom & dad, and I will take care of my mom like she did for me when I was young, most of all , I will take care of myself, and treat myself like I should be, and that means not eating each time I get down in the dumps. It is very clear that is not the answer to my problems. I will try and get exercise in each day as long as my back lets me, but most of all I will continue to be the kind person that I am!! I hope you all have a great and exciting, most of all safe New Year!!

Are You Ready For The Big Fat Guy To Come??

Are you all ready for the big fat guy to come? It's 1 a.m. in the morning and I'm sitting here thinking where has this year gone, and am I ready for yet another Christmas? The answer is yes! My presents are pretty much wrapped, minus one or two, but the baking needs to get done when I wake up later on today.What are your plans for Christmas Eve? Do you have family that you spend it with, do you do Christmas on the eve instead of Christmas Day?? I know some people that do it that way because of schedules.Whatever works for you is good! I hope all my followers have a blessed Christmas Day this year, and I hope you get what you wan from Santa!! I'm just asking for happiness and good health.. That's not alot to ask for right?? Track Your Progress With The Zero Scale

Dieting is tough as we all know and sometimes things just don't go as well as we plan, and after a few days or a week or so your ready to throw in the towel. I have the answer to your prayers , and it's the Zero Scale. The Zero Scale from Great Valley Innovations is the newest break through that millions of Americans need. How often do you step on the scale, and not see any change in your weight This happens quite often for me, and can be very frustrating when you are working hard towards your goal of weight loss. Here I am with my Conair Extreme Instant Heat Multisized Rollers in. I have tons of thick hair on my head, so I figured it would take alot of time, but I was wrong. It took me less than 15 minutes to roll them up. I left them on for some time, as I wanted to make sure that I would have a nice curl come out, and that I did.When I handle hot items, I'm always afraid to get burned, but with the rollers I didn't have to worry about it.

The ends of the rollers were not scorching , and that was just fine for me. I haven't done the curler thing in decades, since I was a kid, and that was back when rollers were made of foam, and they were so small, and it took forever to roll a head of hair.They were not fun to sleep in either. Those days are long gone for me now, thanks to Conair and their wonderful products.

With my hair being so long the curls normally don't stay in too long, but after using the Conair Extreme Instant Heat Multisized Rollers my curls stayed in until the next day. When I woke up in the morning I till had wavy, curly hair. With the great results that I had, I knew that I would be using these as often as I could. They can be purchased at most of your local stores such as Walmart, Bed, Bath & Beyond, CVS, Kohl's and Amazon. They retail for $41.99. The curlers were so easy to remove, as you just take off the clip, unroll and voila !! I wish I had known about these sooner. During the holiday season, they will be used often thanks to Conair !!

Have you ever had the chance to try Asher's Chocolates? I haven't until recently, and let me tell you how awesome these chocolates were. I received the Pecan Caramel Patties picture below.These babies came packages so nicely, and the taste was out of this world. You could not only eat one. Asher's began in 1892, when Chester A. Asher opened a small candy shop in the heart of Philadelphia. In addition to candies, Chester and his staff of six also made jams, jellies, maple syrup, freshly baked cakes and ice creams.

Beautiful European-style bonbons and rare candies were displayed

in the window to tempt people who were passing by.

The Asher name quickly became associated with superb quality, and the store acquired larger space in the Philadelphia’s historic German town neighborhood. When Chester’s son John died in 1966, the third generation of Asher's took the company’s helm. With the increased use of air-conditioning in stores, homes and automobiles, chocolates were becoming more popular as a year-round candy. Jack and Bob decided to expand their selection of chocolates and began produce sugar-free (what was then called “dietetic”) chocolates.

Asher's quickly grew, and by the 1980s, Jack's and Bob’s sons, David and Jeff, continued the business into the fourth generation. They soon moved the company to Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania. When that space became too small, The Asher Familiy purchased 31 acres of farmland in Souderton, Pennsylvania. This is where Asher’s Chocolates are made today.

Some of my favorite Asher's products are the Milk Chocolate Dipped Oreos, Mint Patties, and Assorted Cherry Cordials. I could sit and snack on any of these chocolates any time of the day. Are You Ready For Christmas???

With less than two weeks away until Christmas, I'm just curious as to how everyone is dealing with it? I know it's all about the kids, but let me tell you how stressful Christmas can be. I know everyone handles it different, but we need to stop and remember what Christmas is all about. It's about family and good times being spent together, and good health also. I have a friend who just went through chemotherapy and radiation for breast cancer, and glad to say that she is doing much better now that the tough part is over. She knows when to laugh and when to cry, and when to just sit back and take life as it is dealt to you.

So how are you dealing with this busy time of year?? Do you feel the need to buy every one you know a gift? I have learned in life through responsibilities that Christmas is not about receiving. With the economy being in a whole, the price of gas almost $4.00 a gal, and fuel oil sky high in price, it's very difficult for me and many others to go out and shop when you have crazy bills to pay just to keep a roof over your head. I have always liked baking cookies, fudge and every making gifts if your crafty enough. One year I made wreaths for family and friends out of plastic bags and a hanger. They turned out so cool and every one loved them.

Are you ready for the big day? Are you done shopping and are your gifts wrapped ? I wait until the very last minute to finish wrapping my gifts, and I feel the stress right up until the last minute. I try to do a few each night, but usually am tired after a long day. Gift cards really sounding good to me this year. How can you go wrong right especially for a teen? Do you have any tips that you would like to share with me on how you keep your stress level low around this time of year?? Is it a glass of wine at night while your wrapping your gifts? Whatever it is I hope you enjoy yourself and don't get too stressed this holiday season. It's one day and it will pass by very fast, so enjoy yourself, have fun with your family and be safe. Each and every Christmas season I always have a huge tin of popcorn hanging around the house for my hungry guests to nibble on, so when I recieved this huge, gorgeous container of popcorn from Topsy's I couldn't have been any happier. For those of you who have been following along, or those of you who haven't, the new winner is J.R. Martinez & Karina Schmirnoff, and this couple couldn't be any more deserving to win. The final three couples were all great, but in the end there could only be 1 winner.

This was a very exciting moment for me on the show. To see J.R & Karina all jacked up in the air with their Mirror Ball trophies, and confetti falling all around them was just priceless! There were tears flowing everywhere when Tom Bergeron announced their name. They both had tears that they were fighting back to talk with Tom. This was a moment that Karina who had been so close several times had been waiting to happen for many years, and finally she got her win with one amazing, outstanding, stellar man! Any mother would be proud to call J.R.their son!! He was kick but fabulous right from he get go.

This is the dance right here that put them over the top with a perfect score of 30, making it their fourth one of the season. This freestyle choreographed by Karina was A+++ phenomenal. The lifts and jumps that were in this routine were fabulous. AT first I asked if all this would be safe considering that Karina had her neck fused last year after an injury, and with J.R.'s ankle, I wondered if everything would turn out right from them, and with 10-10-10 from the judges paddles, they was perfect!!

This flip was crazy dangerous, but went off perfectly. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and it happened so fast. All I know is there was jumps, flips, more flips, and a little booty shaking. Did you see where they went out into the middle of the dance floor and danced perfectly on beat, same moves, it was simply amazing. I know Karina was the pro here, but I have to give mad props to J.R. for keeping right up with Karina. Believe me when I say it was hard to tell between the pro and the celebrity. This is how J.R. danced the whole season. His first dance of the night was not his best as he missed a few steps,but he redeemed himself.

As I said before all of the couples danced great, with Rob Kardashian being the most improved dancer. He started as a young man and developed into a perfect gentleman. I hope he continues on with his dancing. Derek & Ricky came out and did a great Freestyle also, but she lost a few steps at the , and this cost them.Ricky Lake knew she was a winner either way. What she accomplished this season was enough , with her boyfriend sitting their each week to cheer her on, I just was so thrilled for her. When Rob & Cheryl made it to the final two in the competition, which I knew would happen, I was like no way, if that Kardashian wins I will flip. I'm just so damn sick of all the whole family. I had to sit here week after week and see the whole darn crew, and enough is enough. I will say that it was any ones game. Rob & Cheryl did their best, and Rob brought his game when needed,but in the end it was J.R. & Karina that would be the winners,and I can't tell you how happy I am for them both. They are both thrilled to have won. Karina put a picture of her and her Mirror Ball Trophy in bed on the computer for all t see. I just laughed. After all that hard work, I would sleep with it too. I can only imagine what J.R. has done with his Mirror Ball?

Now I'm slipping into my blues stage as there is no more DWTS until mid March. What on earth will I watch from now until then? I have an idea , why don't they take all the runners up and put them in a competition until the new series premieres, or does that sound weird??? I also think they should take the judges next season and pair them up with some celebrities. Carrie Ann would be great with Max, Bruno would be great with Kate Gosselin, and good old Len would be perfect with Cloris Leachman!! These are just my opinions though. Now that Thanksgiving has passed there is no time at all to relax. From here now until Christmas it's usually crazy for everyone with getting your house decorated, getting all your shopping done, and let's not forget those last minute parties and Christmas gifts. I have always liked getting together with family, friends and colleagues for the holidays. It helps me get in the spirit of it all. Are you looking forward to another Christmas, and are you ready for it? I know my answer and it's HECK NO!! I know some people go out and shop right after the holiday, and look for bargains for the next year. I have been know to do this a time or two before. I also know people that have every single gift wrapped up like two months before Christmas. These people drive me batty. I can't even get my gifts wrapped two weeks before forget two months

So what do you like to do for the holidays, or what do you normally do with your family? I usually just celebrate with the family on the big day, and I try to go to church on Christmas Eve. This has been a family tradition for many many years in our household, and I always look forward to seeing other people out, and the best part I love is when the whole church sings Christmas songs. Now that really gets me in the Christmas spirit. By the time you get home from church if you go to midnight mass, your Christmas is just about here in hours. I'm always doing the last minute thinking like what if forgot something for someone?If I did, I sure hope he or she likes candles because that is what they are getting!! By this time, I'm all shopped out and ready to just hang it all up. Sorry to sound like a scrooge, but Christmas can be very trying on your nerves. So can dealing with the bank, cable and phone people right, and let us not forget the lovely credit cards??

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!! Sorry I'm a bit late getting on, but it;s been a very busy day for me. I lost power last night due to an accident, so I was in the dark all night, and that meant I couldn't finish baking my pies. Oh yeah, it was very cold night too. Not having any heat when it's in the teens is tough, and to top it off I was in the hospital yesterday too, so it was a crazy day for me, but I was able to finish everything I needed to today and catch glimpses of the parade.

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday with your loved ones. I'm very thankful for my family, friends and health, and I'm also thankful to the men and women who fight for our country, the ones who weren't able to be home with their families today. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Return home safe and sound for your family. You are all appreciated more than you know. I'm also thankful to the guys who spent the night out in the frigid temps trying to restore power so everyone could enjoy their day. I was a bit hesitant, but they came through with flying colors, so god bless them all!! I think it's time for a piece of apple or pumpkin pie, so on that note I will get off. For those going out Black Friday shopping have a great time, and be safe. Watch your purse, as there are crazy people out during this season who will do anything for money. Goodnight !!

DWTS Week 9 Semi Finals

Here we are already at week 9 and in the semi finals of DWTS, and the four couples that made it this far are Rob & Cheryl, J.R. & Karina, Derek & Ricky and Hope and Max. I was pretty much thinking this would be the way things ended with the elimination of Hope & Max. AFter making it this far , and dealing with all the pretty nasty comments all season directed at them from the judges, I knew and I'm sure they knew their time was up. It was pretty evident for sure!

Hope and Max had a pretty rough start right from the get go with the judges. They knit picked every damn thing about them, while they praised others dancing like Nancy & Tristan and Carson & Anna. You could tell that there was discontent in the air. After Max brought Hope to his home to meet his parents and gave dinner, they kind of had a fresh start and seemed to be taking a different approach with things.Whatever it was, it was working. They danced their best of the season and they knew so by the look on their faces, only to go to the judges to get knocked down like always. They received three 7's, which I thought was somewhat low for their performance, and Max spoke up about it. He knew this was wrong and he needed to stand his ground for Hope and himself!

I'm not sure what the deal is between Carrie Ann & Max, but they have had issues for quite a few years now and it shows. She definitely has it out for him, and favors others like Rob Kardashian with her "Bootilicious" comments! How appropriate Carrie Ann to say on national television. Did you forget that this was a family show and kids watch this? It's so funny that you bark at Max for being rude to Len, well practice what you preach my dear!! On yeah, what on earth is wrong with smiling? Max didn't have no snarky look on his face, he was just staying cool and letting the judges bash Hope and him! I agree with alot of viewers that I think it is time for the show to clean house with the judges! Another thing that pissed me , was after the elimination every night the person that gets sent home goes on Jimmy Kimmel Live ,and does GMA in the morning. This did not happen this year, and I'm not happy about it one bit! I heard that ABC chose to have the finalists on instead of Max & Hope. This is not right at all! How dare you do that to them? I want an answer as to why this happened from ABC! I have dedicated many of years to this show, and now I'm let down like many others.

After an up and down season with some of the contestants, J.R. Martinez and Karina have been pretty consistent every week. This guy strives for perfection, and he has become a great dancer. After scoring two perfect 30's the week before, to hurting his ankle and getting 7's and 8's, it was a bit upsetting for J.R., and it was written all over his face. To go from being on top of the leader board for 4 weeks straight, this was not what J.R. & Karina had planned, but accidents happen. I just pray that he is better and brings his game tomorrow night. I expect and hope to see nothing but 10's for him on each dance.

We know that the judges show favoritism to Derek & Ricky and Rob & Cheryl, so I hope J.R. brings his best. I know that Derek & Ricky did not have a perfect Samba, and they scored 3 ten's on that dance. Derek has always been a favorite to the judges! The partners he gets each year are amazing, some who have had dance experience. Derek has won 3 times already . I want to see Karina win her first mirror ball trophy. She has come so close before, and this time it is hers!! I will keep my fingers crossed for sure!!

Congratulations to all of the couples who have made it this far. You have danced great and all deserve to be in the finals. Watch out for Rob K. He was on fire last week dancing. Cheryl has turned him into an awesome dancer. I hope he knows how good he is. The heck with the rest of the Kardashians!!
I'm hoping for some awesome free style dances with jumps, twists, you name it, I want to see it! Who ever does the best on free style usually ends up winning the competition, so I can't wait to see. This was my first time experimenting with a supplement so I was a bit nervous as to the results, but it was a breeze. Counting Down The Days Till Black Friday Shopping

Are you a fan of Black Friday shopping? I know I am, and I can't believe that it will be here in another 8 days. The craziness of it all, the pushing and shoving, the waiting in lines outdoors at wee hours in the morning, the waiting in lines for ever to check out. This is what Black Friday is all about. Many people in my family especially the men think that I'm crazy for doing this. It's a tradition with my sister, myself and whoever wants to come along. We usually start out at Kohl's, then work our way to Walmart, Target and which ever way the car drives us. Of course there has to be a stop for a good old home cooked breakfast on the way. Below is a picture of what it looks like standing in line at 3 a.m. in the morning waiting to get into Kohl's for their awesome deals they have each year.

Now this is what I call Black Friday shopping! I normally try to take a nap for a few hours before I go out, as the tiredness sets in the next day, and I don't like to sleep during the day, but usually I'm so excited about it that I can't sleep. I like to go out on a mission on Black Friday. I don't just go because it's Black Friday. We sit and look at the store ads after dinner, and decide which store we will be going to first. If I'm looking for a big item like a computer or T.V., that is the store I will hit first. Like last year I needed a computer so me and sis went to Walmart, and stood in line for more than 12 hours to get the deal. My sister even brought her husband last year for the fun, and he was actually a good sport about it! I can't say that I know too many men that like to shop!! Do you?? We actually had fun last year! It was a bit tough with the crowds in the store but the staff did great on keeping people moving and the isles open so you could get by. Walmart also offered snack and drinks last year to people waiting in the lines, so I thought that was pretty nice.

Depending on which items you are looking for, it aways pays to bring a few extra people along with you. If you are looking for a Television, a Computer or a Vacuum, you can't stand in 3 different lines at the same time. This is where you have your friend or family member go in one line while your in the other. This is only good if your both not looking let's say for a computer. Last year at Walmart you could only score 1 laptop per person in line,so one stood in the Laptop line while the other stood in the Television line. I was quite impressed at the check out lines as they actually moved right along and everyone seemed to be in a good mood.

Another favorite store of mine is Bath & Body Works. They always have awesome deals there, and that is when I stock up for the year. It's always busy too, so if your planning on stopping in your local store be prepared. They have them awesome 5 or 6 a.m. deals.Not too sure of the time. The staff are always bubbly there, and ready to help you out. They get you in and out real quick!

Where ever you go, I hope you ave fun and be safe! At times in the past on Black Friday people have got injured,and even one worker at Walmart got trampled and killed when the doors opened up. Since that happened they changes their store policy. It's not worth killing someone over a Computer, so be patient and kind, and not so much in a damn hurry! It's all about having fun! If you have the option of carrying a credit card, I think that is much safer than carrying cash. There are people out there that take advantage of this day and are looking to cash in, especially when your carrying cash on you, so I don't advise that. If your carrying cash just bring a small amount.Keep an eye on the register as your items are getting scanned. It's so much easier to deal with it at that moment verses having to go back and get a refund if you are over charged!! Be patient, have fun and most of all be safe! That's what Black Friday is all about!!

DWTS Week 8.. My Run Down

Week 8.. My My My.. How time has passed so fast when your having fun. So we are getting down to the semi finals and left in the competition is Derek & Ricky, Max & Hope, J.R. & Karna, Nancy & Tristan and Rob & Cheryl. One of these couples had to go this 1 week shy of making it into the semi finals, and time to remember 3 dance routines like one isn't tough enough. I couldn't imagine what these poor soles have gone through, but let me tell you they look fabulous.. All of them!!

Time had come for Nancy & Tristan. They were eliminated on week 8 into the competition. I'm so proud of how far Nancy went into this competition considering she never danced a step before. She really grew week after week, even after the many of words her and Tristan shared. He was doing this for her best interest. I give the lady a heck of props for dancing her butt off, training 8 hours a day, working her T.V. show and trying to b a mommy to her kids who were there each week to support her.She knew that is was her time!!

Check out this video above of Hope & Max during their Instant Jive. For all the obstacles they over come, and Max having words with the judges, this indeed was their best dance to date. Hope was spot on with her moves,and remember they only twenty minutes to practice this routine. It was fabulous! I was so proud of them both as they had tried to put their differences aside and try things a bit different. max had brought Hope to his families house to visit. Hope sure got the dirt on Max wile there. I think he was trying to show her that there is a soft side to him, but on the dance floor , it's different!Whatever they did worked,and his dance got them their highest scores, and into the semifinals!!

Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke took things to anther level this week with their Quick Step & Instant Jive. They earned 27 on their Quick Step & 24 On the Instant Jive. They were in jeopardy with Nancy & Tristan, but escaped going home, and landed a spot in the semi finals. Yeah for Rob & Cheryl. That Rob has really given his all in this competition. He comes back week after week to show those judges that he belongs there. I don't think that he will win the competition, but I think in might make it to the finals. Way to go Rob Kardashian for dancing so great and getting this far into the competition. Your family must be proud of you! I bet that is not the same for your sissy Kim!

My guess is that J.R. & Karina and Derek & Ricky will be in the final two. Not only did the nice beautifully during their Waltz, they earned the first perfect 30 on the show. They were so excited! That's what happens when you really want something and you are determined to win. This man has overcome almost dying and being burnt over 40% on his body, so he is determined and strong willed, and I think he is going to pull this win off. They also earned 30 on their Instant Jive giving them a total of 60, which is the first perfect score this season. I think J.R will show us even more perfect scores to come. Way to go J.R. & Karina. You guys dance beautifully, and my eyes fill with tears watching you guys. Keep it up!

Lastly is Derek Hough & Ricky Lake which scored a 28 in their Waltz and a 24 in their Instant Jive. The Instant Jive is a tough dance for the dancers, as they pick the tune out of a hat, and they have 20 minutes to rehearse, so this is a tough dance I can imagine. Derek & Ricky have danced beautifully throughout this competition. Derek is a three time Mirror Ball Champ, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind to make it 4. I love seeing Derek dance. That man is awesome to watch his moves on the dance floor. He is definitely a perfectionist! So who do you think will be the winner of this show, and who do you think will leave the competition next week?My guess will be Max & Hope, leaving Derek & Ricky, Rob & Cheryl and J.R. & Karina as the final three.

I'm praying that J.R. & Karina wins this competition. Karina ha the best dance partner ever, and she is yet to win. She has come close, and made it into the finals. Remember when Mario & Karina were in the finals back when? They should have won, but didn't! With just a few more weeks in the competition, we will have a winner very soon. I can't wait!! What you are doing for our country each and every day is very courageous of you. Also to all of the Veterans who gave their lives fighting for our country, you will never be forgotten! DWTS Week 7

Here we are already past the half way mark and many great dancers have exited the competition way too early if I must say so. I'm not the judge or anything, but this is a dance competition and great dancers like Kristin Cavaleri & Mark Ballas and Tony Dovolani & Chynna Phillips are gone, and the dancers who are so so are still here, and safe for yet another week. Is this competition based on dancing abilities or popularity? I swear I really would love to know the answer myself. I just don't feel like it's an honest competition at all.What are your thoughts about this?

Nancy's red hair was amazing, and so was her costume, but her Jive to "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" was very flat and boring if you ask me. I like Nancy & Tristan, and I give her all the credit in the world for making it this far in the competition.You can tell by the look on her face each week waiting to find out her fate, as she knows she is there on luck. She has given it her all, but it's time for her to be eliminated.They landed in the bottom two and scored 21 out of 30, and are yet safe for another week again. How is this happening??

Unfortunately David & Kym were sent home this past week. After their Cha Cha earned them a 24, that just wasn't enough as they landed in the bottom two with Nancy & Tristan. I never thouht that Kym & David would be the ones sent home, but they were! Kym is one heck of a dancer and a two time mirror ball champ with Hines Ward and let's not forget the most fabulous Donny Osmond. .I met Kym in person before and she is a doll. She is the sweetest person ever. I loved David and Kym paired together.The actor and performer that David is, he gave the dance his best each week with his all. He was there to learn how to dance, and he grew as a person as he learned alot about himself. He was elegant and graceful as he danced each week. I loved seeing his daughter Coco and Courtney Cox there each week to Cheer him on. David & Kym will be missed. He really brought some laughter to the show with his bubbly personality.Thank you for the fun times David!

Everyone that follows me should know by now who I would like to see win this competition and that is J.R. Martinez & Karina Schmirnoff! They have danced like dynamite each week so far, except for a few missed steps on Halloween Night, but I know they will be in the finale for sure with Derek & Ricky. Another couple who is the one to beat lately is Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke. Here is a clip below of their Tango they danced this past week on Halloween.

This Tango was fantastic and earned them a 25 from the judges. I can't believe that this is the Rob Kardaschian that is Kim's little brother. This guy has come so far each week, and has taken the judges comments to heart, and performed even better the next week. This by far is my favorite dance of Rob & Cheryl. Save a spot in the finale JR & Karina and Derek & Ricki because Mr. Kardashian is working his way right up there. Let's just hope that sister Kimmy(Newlywed Divorce), stays home the next few weeks. Your doing just fine there Rob, and I particularly don't care to see the cameras flashed on them every chance they get. Hopefully the Kardashian clan will stay home and comfort poor woe is me Kimmy.That family, minus Rob make me want to vomit!! Kris Humphries should be lucky that the he is able to get out know while he can. If Rob hasn't shown the world how serious he is, and how well of a dancer he has become , then you must be watching something different than me. He is dancing his way right into the finale, so you go Rob K.

Just wanted to wish all my fellow blogger buds and their families a Happy Halloween. Can you believe that Halloween is here already? I can't!! I actually thought it was tomorrow until I heard it on T.V. Where ever you are be safe and have fun Trick or Treating!! For any of you on the East Coast like me, we had a nice snow and ice storm on Saturday, and many of people still don't have any power(that stinks), so for those with no power, that indeed means no street lights, which makes for a very dangerous night to Trick or Treat. If you do go out, bring flash lights, wear colors that will reflect, and for the people that will be out driving, remember what night it is, and that there will be children out walking from house to house with their parents, so "SLOW DOWN" and drive responsible!! This is a night for kids to have fun and be safe, so remember not to go out alone without an adult, do not enter any ones house that you don't know, and let your parents or guardians check your candy before you eat it! Bundle up , and make sure you are warm while your out having a blast! Trick or Treat my little goblins!!! Have fun!!!

DWTS Week 6

Week 6 on DWTS has come and gone and so have some flared up tempers! I enjoy the judges critique, but I do think that Max is right! The judges do kiss some major butt each week, and then they knock down people such as Chaz Bono and Hope Solo. The judges seem to love JR & Karina , and Derek and Ricky, so I'm thinking that those two will definitely be in the finale! We will see in just a few more weeks. I can't believe that the competition is more than half way over. Ugh.. This is going to be a long winter for me! Will Celebrity Apprentice be coming back on?? I hope so, as I love that show!

Did the right couple go home this week, or should it have been Max & Hope? I definitely think Chaz should have left. I give him credit for how far he came and the obstacles he climbed, but some great dancers left before him. That's not right at all!! Max was sick and tired of the judges picking on Hope each week, and when Len said that was her worse dance, well of course Max have to mouth back. Did he forget millions of people were watching him??

I understand his point and everything, but to tell Len that maybe it was time for him to go was uncalled for. That is a no no Max!! The judges were right this time. There are alot of people like JR & Karina should have received a perfect score on that night, but nasty old Len took out his nine paddle. What the hell was he thinking? He screw people every so often like that. So, Derek & Ricky came back and took the leader board along with JR & Karina. The competition is very tight now, and Cheryl & Rob are pushing their way right up there too. David & Kym danced a Quick Step and had the croud on their feet. He has been a competitor since day 1, and he has great stage presence and ability. You can tell he is an actor!!

Chaz looks a bit irritate in this photo above don't he?? I guess Bruno likes to call him funny names. I think he ad told him this week that he looked like a penguin dancing on the dance floor. Lacey and Chaz had the best time being partners, and Chaz achieved so much on DWTS. He wanted to show people that you can do anything you put your mind to.I guess their Tango wasn't enough to keep them around!

So week seven is right around the corner , and with five couples left, this is any ones game. Who do you think will be the next to go, or do you need to watch them dance first? I hope Max will put a lid on his lips because this could affect him and Hope. As much as I like them both I do think that they will be the ones to go next. I really would leave to see Max win, as he hasn't won yet! Maybe next season will be your Max. Stay tuned as I will be back with an update after next Monday. I can't wait !! My Take On Dancing With The Stars Week 5

Can you believe that we are just about at the half way mark on DWTS? I remember sitting here patiently waiting all summer long, and being depressed due to having withdrawals from not seeing DWTS. That is how I get when don't see that show. Even though it seems like it's boring and just blah this season with the contestants, it is still my favorite show by far, and J.R. & Karina are still the couple to win this competition!! They have not disappointed at all this season. That Latin boy can sure shake what his momma gave him!

As much as I loved seeing Carson & Anna dance each week, it was his time to go. We had already lost two great dancers in the competition, so his time was up. He surely brought fun to the cast and seasoned things up a bit. The outfits that he came out with each week were sometimes hard to look at, and flamboyant if I may say, but Carson always gave it his all. He gave us 5 weeks what no one else on the show could have. He had so much fun dancing each week too. he knew that he belonged there dancing. I bet having him as a partner was pure joy for Anna. I don't think he argued with her much at all either. Thanks for 5 fun weeks Anna & Carson. See you at the finale!!

Now who doesn't like the adorable Max? I know that I love his style of dancing. He sure can shake that booty too. he has so much potential with his partner Hope, being that she is an athlete, but their partner relationship seems a bit testy at times. That girl has so much potential. She just needs to listen to the pro and loosen up and have fun. I don't know if she will make it to the finale or not, but I now she has what it takes. I think with Hope that she can't always handle what the judges have to say, and of course that throws her off dancing.

Now Rob & Cheryl are the couple to watch out for this season. Rob started this competition with Cheryl with no dance experience what so ever, and he was kind of the shy guy next door. DWTS has made Rob open up, and he has become a great dancer too! People compare Rob to his sisters all the time, and he hates that. He is his own person, and I think Cheryl has done an awesome job working with him. Let me tell you that Rob sure brought his sexy this past week, and for once he took control of the dance, and his scores showed that in the end. I think that he is realizing finally that he is a contender for the Mirror Ball, and the only way to get there is by stepping up his game which he did. Cheryl was pleased with his performance. I can't wait to see them dance the quick step or the jive?? I hope his performance even gets better as each week passes. I see Rob & Cheryl being in the finale for sure. What do you think about this? I'm so proud of how far her has come. The Kardashian Clan are there each week to support him too. As long as Khloe don't scream gestures across the dance floor, Rob will be in good shape!

As much as I love Chaz & Lacey each week, and I really give him credit for being brave through this all, and determined to win. I do think that too much attention is focused on Chaz & Cher though. It's a dance competition and I could care less about who is in the audience, or how they got there. I care about who is a great dancer, and who I want to see win this competition. I don't think that Chaz & Lacey will win this, but maybe stick around another week or two, like the Palin gal did. That wasn't dancing, it was pure misery for me!! The media, all the attention that was given to that family was outraging to many!! I have also enjoyed Nancy & Tristan each week this season. While Nancy has really opened up and let her guard down, she has had some fun too. This is not the Nancy that we see on TV. I only wish that she just gave it her all. She dances at times like she is frightened, and it shows. I still love watching them each week!

Who do you think will win this dancing competition? It is a dance competition and not a popularity competition right? I'm trying to be funny a bit. Who would you like to see be in the final 3?? I really want to see JR & Karina, Rob & Cheryl and Hope and Max, but we will see sooner than later. That would be an awesome finale if I say so. I hear the support coming from JR Martinez fans, and they are just as pumped as I am for him to win! That man can shake his booty, and he is an AWESOME dancer if I say so!! DWTS Week 4 Results

Here we go again. Week 4 has come and gone, and so have 2 of the best dancers on the show again. It ha take me awhile to wrote this, as I have been really bummed of the elimination. I sit and wonder is this a dancing competition or is this a popularity contest? I seriously think it might be a popularity contest. How can two weeks go by, and 2 of the best dancers be sent home?

Tony Dovolani & Chynna Phillips were sent home this past week. In their dance the night before, Chynna had lost her steps throughout the dance several times, but the great coach that Tony is, he guided her the rest of the dance. You could hear him talk to her in the audio telling her it's okay, just follow him. I also her the part where Chynna was bleeped out. Tony & Chynna had scored pretty well the first couple of weeks, and for this to happen was devastating to me. You could tell on elimination night that they looked like they would be going home. I just can't understand how on earth they could leave especially before Carson, Chaz, and Nancy. They are good dancers, but Chynna did dance better than them, and she knew it also. This will suck without them in the competition!

Chaz & Lacy really brought it this week also. This was one of his toughest dances yet, with a lot of physical activity put into it. I thought it was neat that Lacey brought Chaz to see Richard Simmons this week for some tips on how to get in shape, and stay in the competition. They ended up being safe, and the surprise of their faces were evident. It brought me to tears seeing Cher in the audience. Was this a publicity stunt for the show or what???

It think that everyone pretty much brought their game this week. There were definitely better dancers than others in the competition! I think Derek & Ricky danced awesome this past week, and they received the first tens of the season, ending up with a 29 from the judges! Hope & Max also brought their game this past week. It's amazing seeing the celebrities grow each week and become great dancers. Nancy & Tristan also did good too. Nancy looked amazing in her dress. Tristan must be having a ball this season dancing with her. One thing she needs to do is loosen up, interact with the audience, and just have fun. She always seems to be stiff looking to me!!

Rob Kardashian landed in the final two this past week, and I'm hoping this scared him enough to come out and dance even better this week. He has been pretty consistent all along in the competition. It's a bit weird to me seeing him dance in front of millions of people. This is not the Rob I see on KUWTK. Cheryl & Rob have done pretty good so far. Cheryl is a two time champ, and am sure she would love for it to be three!! Give it your all Rob! I love seeing you two dance each week!

I wouldn't say that this season is anything great for me, as it does seem a bit boring compared to last year. It's almost like everyone knows who will week now. Just give Derek the Mirror Ball Trophy!! This is just how I feel. Ricky & Derek have danced incredibly so far, but so have J.R. & Karina! Now J.R. comes out each week with such determination, and elegance in his dance. My heart aches for him with what he has gone through since the blast. He is determined to win 100%!! I really hope they win this season. Karina has made it to the finals before, but has yet to win. One person I miss in this competition is "Metta World Peace" know as the former Ron Artest! He brought some comedy to the competition, but sadly him & Petyra were eliminated the first week. I think he should have left his hair alone!.

Week 5 is here tomorrow and I can't wait to see what it brings. I sit glued to the T.V., and as my friends and family know to "DO NOT INTERUPT ME"during DWTS. They think I'm crazy, but I'm just passionate about dancing, and DWTS is one of my favorite T.V.'s. Who do you think will go home next, and who do you think should be next to go home? I recently came across these awesome Breast Cancer Awareness buttons at Blogaholic Designs, and being that Breast Cancer Awareness month is here now, I had to show my support with these amazing buttons that Emily created. These buttons directly link to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure website. Stop over there and see how you can show your support to help find a cure for Breast Cancer Awareness. You can share your story if you know someone who has breast cancer or had it.

My family has been touched by Breast Cancer before, so know how extremely important it is to have your annual mammograms usually beginning at the age 40, or as otherwise directed by your doctor. Don't forget each month to do your monthly breast checks also. You can do it in the shower, or laying in bed, or where ever you are comfortable. It only takes a few minutes, and could help save a life.

If you feel something that is uncomfortable, or a lump that wasn't there before, get to your doctor and have him or her examine you. If your doctor tells you that there is nothing to worry about and you don't feel comfortable with their decision, you can ask for a mammogram to be done. I would rather have a bill to pay, then breast cancer to beat which could have been detected earlier had I had it checked out.

I have a friend who is battling breast cancer right now, and let me tell you this gal is simply amazing, and has such a positive attitude. I don't know if I could handle it the way she has had t been me. She is determined to beat this, and has a wonderful family, and all of her friends supporting her throughout this tough time in her life. DWTS Week # 3 .. Mark Ballas & Kristin Cavaleri Go Home

Week 3 has come and gone, and so has excitement,triumph,sadness and one of the shows best dancers left the show. I couldn't take my eyes off the T.V on Monday night. Some of the stories from the celebrities were just amazing!! But as we know on Tuesday night each week there is a contestant to exit the show. I'm on pins and needles that night hoping and praying that it's not my favorite celebrity!

This week Mark & Kristin were the couple sent home. I couldn't believe it when Mark & Kristin and Max & Hope were in the bottom three along with Lacey & Chaz. I had a funny gut feeling that it wouldn't end up good. I had that feeling that Lacy & Chaz would be safe, as Cher stated if Chaz would be safe this week, that Cher would show up next week. Common.. We all know that DWTS loves to have drama on the show. Look at the Palin and the Gosselin families. When they were on the show, all we got to see was the whole darn family. I'll tell you that Mark & Kristin were one of the best top three couples to dance. They absolutely should have not been sent home. This was a huge shock to even the judges,including Len, who voiced his opinion at the end! I think that Lacy & Chaz or Nancy & Tristan should have gone if the show is all about becoming a great dancer, but if it's a popularity contest, which we know happens, then the out come will be different.

This couple was AWESOME !! I was in tears when JR talked about his deployment in Iraq, and how the vehicle he was in went over a land mine, and he was burned terribly all over his body. They performed a poignant Rumba, and dedicated it to those who has lost their life during military service. That was by far their best dance ever, and it was touching as well. The crowd were on their feet applauding for quite some time when their dance was finished.
JR & Karina are one of my favorite couples this season and I think that they will definitely be in the finale on DWTS. I have been a huge fan of JR's since I saw him on All My Children. What a brave man and how awesome of an actor he is!! He just might become the Mirror Ball Champ this season if he keeps that great dancing up. Karina has yet to win herself, so this would be an awesome season to do so. Her connection with JR is perfecto as well! Not every dancer gets the celebrity of choice, but the show did pretty darn well this season I must say.

Derek Hough is one of the best dancers on the show. He has won 3 Mirror Ball Trophies on the show, and you can tell he is definately going for number 4. I was amazed at how well Ricki Lake has done so far for it only being week number 3. She has been strong and consistent, and she has that fighter in her. She has been through alot the last few years of her life,and has bounced back. Ricki dedicated her dance story to her new boyfriend that was sitting in the audience cheering her one. The expressions on her face, the precision & extension of her moves will most likely get her in the finale as well. I would love to see Karina or Maxx win, someone who hasn't won before, but it is a competition, and the voters do have a say, so we will wait and see.

Who did you like this past week? Who did you think should have went home? Do you think that Lacy & Chaz still should be dancing? What about Nancy & Tristan? This dancing stuff is all new to Nancy, and I think she is doing pretty darn good for a beginner. She is also so proud for her accomplishments on the dance floor. She takes to Twitter & Facebook to thank her fans, and keep them aware of what is next to come. I appreciate any celebrity who has the time to do that. I guess we will wait and see as the weeks go by. No more surprises like last week! I hate to see great dancers leave the competition way before their time. That is just NOT right!! Vote Vote Vote!!! My Take On DWTS Week 2

Here we are at week 2 of the competition and the second couple to go home was Elizabetta & Val. I had a very strong feeling that it would be them going home this week after the first week of the competition, and it just didn't appear to me that Elizabetta had the dance in her.. She was as nervous as could be and the judges picked up on that. I was hoping that she would have stuck around a few weeks so I could have seen just how far she would come, but the audience had different plans for her.

I thought that Elizabetta & Val made a darn great looking dance couple. I was so proud of how far she came with her quick step routine on week 2. She ended up with 3 sevens from he judges, and they all noticed how very much of an improvement she had done. I guess it just wasn't in the cards for them, and being that this was Val's first season on DWTS, he didn't really appear to have the fan base. I'm sure they will be back dancing in the finale.

As much as I adore Anna Trebunskaya and her dance partner Carson , they could have done without the outfits this week. I wonder who picked them anyways, That Carson is a pistol, and I'll tell you he sure has got the groove for the dance floor, and with having Anna as a partner, he couldn't have asked for a better partner. As geeky as Carson looked last night, he gives it his all each week, and he has such a positive attitude with the whole competition. If he wants to stay in the competition week after week, he needs to step up his game, and give it his all each week. I think he might stay around a few more weeks. We will have to see how he does, and how the judges react to his dancing. Anna has yet to win the Mirror Ball, and I would really lie to see that happen, but there are better dancers with a larger following than Carson.

Cheryl & Rob K. really brought it this week
with their Jive. I see them two getting pretty far in his competition, and possibly into the finale. If Rob continues to work hard, and takes the judges comments to heart, and of course is on his game with Cheryl, I really see him improving week after week. Carrie Ann made me laugh when she announced on the show last night that Rob K. was a better dancer than his sister Kim Kardashian. She is right, he is a much better dancer, and he seems to have better judgement, and a nicer personality too. Work hard Rob & listen to the Cheryl, the 2 time Mirror Ball Champ! I'm sure she wants to add #3 to her collection, and that would be as awesome for Rob K. You can tell that he wants this, and is working his butt off.

I was thrilled when Nancy & Tristan were safe this week also. My votes went to them and Tony & Chynna. I'm seeing a much softer side of Nancy on the dance floor with Tristan. She really is doing quite well, and for this being Tristan's first season, I'm thinking that Nancy has quite the following behind her. Keep it coming guys , as I want to see how much she grows week after week. I would love to see Nancy & Tristan in the free style dance. We know you have it prosecutor, now bring it!!

Lastly, I'm thrilled to see how amazingly well Chynna Phillips & Tony Dovolani are doing. That chic is really into this competition, and she is one feisty gal too. She definitely wants to with this competition, and I'm pretty sure that we will be seeing them in the final 3 or so. Tony D. has yet to win the Mirror Ball. He has been so close, and he got robbed a few seasons ago when him and the gal from The Hills TV show were sent home way too early in the competition, considering they were the best dancers on the show. If you like a dancer, them please vote for them. Do NOT just think that they are safe because they danced well. We all now that don't mean nothing! We have seen it way to many times before, so Vote Vote Vote!! Don't forget to call in your votes on your land line,and voting is only open for like half an hour, so do it before your time is up. You can also vote online at the DWTS website.

Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Air Brush Giveaway

I have been a huge fan of Conair products for decades now , using Curling Irons,Blow Dryers and Flatterers, and I have never been dissatisfied any of their products. I recently was given the chance to try out the Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Air Brush, and Icouldn't have been any more happier. This baby is a beauty, and I love it. It took quite a few times of getting used to, but I got the hang of it,and it is all I use now if I'm getting dolled up to go out somewhere. Below is what I received in the mail.

I, myself, had to take some time getting used to the Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush. With having long hair,I had to section it off piece by piece so it wouldn't get tangled in the brush. There is an on and off switch, and you can control the temperature to cool, low or high. There two buttons on the Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush by Conair,which control the way you roll you hair while you are drying it.I usually start with rolling under, then once it's dry I take sections and roll it over! Here is a pic of me trying to get the hang of it below.

With The Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Air Brush, by the time I was done trying to figure it out, and dry my hair,it did take some time, so if you have alot of hair like mine, they you will need some time to dry it. When my hair was all done being dried, it had the most healthiest, and shiny look ever, and for once I can say there actually wasn't any frizz at all, which was a huge plus for me, as my hair is always frizzy. I also loved the sleeklook that I was left with.i I am happy to say that I enjoy using this brush, and I do quite often as I love the way it leaves my hair feeling. This brush could be used for short or long hair. It will get the job done.

My Take On DWTS Season 13 Week 1

Week one has come and gone and so has "Metta World Peace" formerly known as Ron Artest & his ever so gorgeous dancing partner Peta. I can see why Ron had a hard time keeping her dance moves straight with her. She is a bombshell beauty!! I was pretty sure that it would be Ron and Peta,or Val & Elisabetta leaving the competition on week 1, as they both has low scores, and just seem not to have the rhythm needed to dance.

I'm hoping to see some better dancing from these two in the weeks to come. We all know that there is a heck of alot of talent between Max & Val, so I'm hoping Val can forget the beauty long enough to teach her how to dance. To me, she just didn't seen to have any rhythm or musicality at all. It looked like she was lost most of the time. Better weeks to come I hope for the two of them!!!

I couldn't wait until the former prosecutor made it out on the floor with her dance partner Tristen. We all know how tough she can be, so I was eager to see her loosen up a bit and put it out there for millions of viewers to see. Her best fans were her husband and twins routing her on. I think it was a first tough week for her, but since she was saved by all of her fans,I'm hoping that she will come out pretty strong next week. She still needs to loosen up and smile !~

Lastly I have to give mad props to my boy Tony Dovolani & his beautiful partner Chynna Phillips. I have been a huge Tony fan for many seasons, and have watched him come so darn close only to be sent home. He has been on DWTS each and every season,so I really want to see him snag that Mirror Ball this season.I couldn't have been any prouder of the way they danced their first dance. What an elegant dance it was. Chynna looked like a pro. They amazingly ended up with a 22 , which put them on top of the leaderbord with Karina & JR Martinez. I hope to see bigger and better things from them each week. Tony & Chynna will surely have my vote each week.

I'm also routing for Cheryl & Rob K. this season. I think they danced pretty well for their first time out, considering Rob is the shy, mommas boy, and now dancing in front of 20+ million viewers. I really think that the outburst from his sister Khloe was very uncalled for and not needed one bit. Did she forget that she wasn't on her reality show for a moment? I pray to god that we don't have to hear or see that each week! Common Rob,bring them moves to the dance floor, and show us what our momma gave you. Cheryl is longing for Mirror Ball # 3, and I know you have it in you Rob, so let's see some magic. I plan on seeing you with in the finale Rob and Cheryl, and of course Tony & Chynna, maybe Lacey & Chaz too! That Chaz Bono is one determined person!!

Lastly I will say that this season seems to be a bit boring for me. I was looking so much forward to it, but I'm feeling a bit bored so far. I'm hoping that this changes week after week. Am I the only one feeling this way? I say they get the whole All My Children crew on and dance since they are out of a job!! Now that would be neat and they are all celebrities!! What do you think about that?I hope DWTS doesn't disappoint this season. We will have to wait and see. Check back each week for my update!!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Dancing With The Stars Season 13 Returns

Dancing With The Stars returns tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. EST, and guess who is thrilled beyond words??? That would be me!! Dancing With The Stars is by all time my favorite show ever!! Since the end of last season I swear I just have not been the same at all, and come each Monday & Tuesday evenings I'm bored out of my mind with DWTS. After all who wants to watch a bunch of vindictive people on reality shows like The Bachelor Pad and The Bachelor & The Bachelorette. I don't know about you but I'm so sick of seeing ABC taping people at their breaking points. Look at Micheal & Holly and the Blake stunt on The Bachelor Pad when they crowned the winner. That was despicable of them to play that all out!! With DWTS it surely won't be like that.

So who will you be routing for this season? I'm surely going to be voting for my all time favorite Tony Dovolani & Chynna Phillips. I pray to god that he can win this season. He has come so close to get eliminated in the finale. Another one I will be watching is Tristan & Nancy Grace and Cheryl Burke & Rob Kardashian. I like Rob & Nancy as celebrities,so I'm hoping that they can bring it this season. Let's see if Rob really isn't that mommas boy, and see how Cheryl can whip him in shape. I hope she does!! Cheryl is a two time champ, and I'm sure she wants too catch up to Derek Hough, a three time champ. Also Nancy Grace is the queen in the court room, and phenomenal if I must say, so I'm hoping she can bring all she has to the dance floor.Only 8 hours and counting until it all begins!! Yee hah!! I will also be watching how the personalities play out, and if I see any of that attitude Kendra Wilkinson displayed, I might just be voting for someone else. My Favorite Idol Lauren Alaina

I'm not sure if any one you remember chatting with me about American Idol before but my heart was broken because Lauren Alaina didn't win. While they both were very good singers, I really wanted to see a 16 year old Georgia gal win it! I always knew deep down that bigger and better thing would come for her. Who ever finishes as runner up has always seems to do better career wise later on. With the American Idol Tour all wrapped up now, I can't imagine how very much fun they all had. I know that her mom was by her side each step of the way.

So what's next for the beautiful Lauren Alaina? She has her debut album coming out on October 11, 2011. Shed Monster "As Seen On TV" Review & Giveaway

Have you ever heard of the Shed Monster?? I had never heard of it until recently, when I received the Shed Monster courtesy of Jarden Consumer Solutions. Since I have two cats one with short hair, and one with long hair,I was sent one of each. My cats couldn't get enough of it, after all who doesn't like to have a good comb out every once in awhile??

So what do yo think? DO you think your cats would like it? I sure know that mine did. I will share a few pics I snapped while combing my wonderful cats Erica's & Pretzel.Erica has the white hair, and Pretzel is my Tiger Cat with the short hair. They are both always liking it when I give them a comb. My cats are always using every piece of furniture as scratching posts for their claws and just getting a good old scratch, so I'm happy to have the Shed Monster in my house.

Here is a picture of my baby Erica, and when I say baby I mean baby. She walks upon my chest and plops down just to be nurtured. She has longer hair and let me tell you I have never seen a cat shed like this before. Just from petting her and giving her neck a good old scratch,I always am left covered with white cat hair, which doesn't help out too much with my asthma. When anyone comes to visit me, and are wearing a black shirt, they normally leave my house with a black and white shirt. The Shed Monster has come in very handy for me, and as you can see it does a good job picking up alot of cat hair at a time.That was just about one of five times or so that I combed her coat,and each time the brush was full. The Shed Monster is a bit heavy to hold in your hand , but it does it's job, and my cats seem to like it,so it's a keeper with me.

Here is my other fur baby Pretzel. She is the older cat in the family, and the one with the short hair,so when I use the Shed Monster on her, I didn't have
that much hair come off as with my longer haired cat pictured above. She didn't mind me using it on her, but she is 11 years old now, and when you get near her spine area, she doesn't particularly care for it, and with the weight of the comb, I had to be extra careful as I didn't want to hurt her. Overall she didn't seem too bothered.

Dancing With The Stars Season 13 Returns In Less Than 1 Week!

Anyone that follows my blog knows that I'm a huge fan of DWTS, and with it's return in less than one week I'm eagerly counting down the days, then I will be in heaven. You should see me when the show comes on. I get up and clap and sing,and act like a fool. That is by far my all time favorite show, and another thing I tell my friends & family is don't call me between8-10 p.m. unless it's urgent, and I don't mean needing a babysitter for your kid. Below is a picture of the new cast when ABC announced them on The Bachelor Pad a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty excited with the new cast. It doesn't seem like it will be a drama filled season like it was with Bristol Palin or Kate Gosselin.I give alot of credit to Chaz Bono for dancing. He is probably the most out of shape right now with all of his changes going on in his body, but he is determined to lose the weight, and he said he has already lost five pounds, so kudos to you Chaz, and screw everyone else and their opinions. I think that I will see you in the finale at the end. You are a very determined person, and I know you will do good. Lacey will whip you into shape for sure so watch out!!

So what do you think about Nancy Grace competing?I happen to like her and her ways very much. She is a straight shooter and tells it as it is. I can't wait to see how she does on the dance floor with the ever so gorgeous Tristan Mac Manus. For those of you who don't know him I think this is his first time ever performing on DWTS. I have never seen him perform before, especially to a former prosecutor.You better watch out Tristan as Nancy will probably have you on your toes.I'm so much looking forward to seeing you two dance together, and it will be interesting to watch the two of you dance,so bring it on baby because I'm readier than ever. Nancy will have to give up her power just for a bit if she wants to win the Mirror Ball. Nancy, shake what your momma gave you girl.

Another one that I will be watching closely this season is Elisabetta Canalis & Val Chmerkovskiy. Now this is one hot couple!! Elisabetta was formerly George Clooney's girlfriend for a few years,and a model,has now moved to LA, and performing on DWTS.Now this chic is on damn good shape, and I think she might have a bit of dance experience,so of course this will give her a better chance on the dance floor.I'm thrilled to have Maks' brother Val on the show. I have seen him and Maks dance before, but never in a competition and for the Mirror Ball Trophy! All I know is between Val& Elisabetta there will be some raging hormones on that dance floor.How much you want to bet they will be dating by shows end?? We will see what happens pretty soon won't we? ABC did a good job this year pairing up the couples for sure!!!

Another couple I will be watching closely is Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke. We all know that Cheryl is a two time Mirror Ball winner, and a perfectionist, so she will be giving Rob a run for his money for sure. I can't wait to see what dancing does to Rob as a person. On his show Keeping Up With The Kardashians he is the only brother, and kind of like the baby in the family. Sometimes I think he acts a little entitled, but overall I like him. I pray to god that he does better than his sister Kim. Wasn't she voted off on the first week?? I hope Rob is ready for Cheryl to turn him into a dancer , because she is a perfectionist and it shows 100% on the dance floor. That chic has one heck of a body..I hope Rob can keep his focus and his eye on the prize.lol.I'm sure we will be seeing the whole Kardashian clan week after week. I hope ABC leaves the spotlight on Rob & Cheryl !!

So with all being said, I'm super excited about DWTS starting in less than a week, and you can expect me to be blogging about it week after week. I sure love to give my opinions, and if you know me I don't hold back!!! My pick for the finale as of now without even seeing anyone dance is Val & Elisabetta, Cheryl& Rob, Lacey& Chaz and Tony & Chynna. This doesn't mean that I'm not a fan of Maks or Kym because I am for sure,and Karina too, but I'm just giving an early pick for who I'm thinking might make it to the finally.What are your thought? A huge DWTS fan for life,

September 11, 2011- 10 Years Later-Gone But Not Forgoten

I remember the day as clear as can be, that is September 11, 2001. I remember exactly what I was doing at the moment, and what I ha just witnesses. Our nation was in terror. NYC win Towers had both just been attacked, and shortly after a third plane would attack the Pentagon In Washington. What was happening to our country, and what Had I just witnessed? On this brisk morning, I'm thinking it was on a Tuesday, I was at breakfast with my mom and sister. We were at our local bowling alley sitting right in front of the TV's. With what we just witnessed and what was to come, My body was numb and I was speechless. I wasn't working that day, so I raced over to my sons school to inform them what had just happened. Well before you knew it the phones were ringing off the wall, and parents were showing up in dozens to remove their kids from school. They wanted them to be with them safe. Whatever we said to them on the phone didn't matter. They thought the school could be next. It was frightening and plain old terrible. The TV's were not on so the kids didn't get to see it,but before long they were catching on, as everyone was acting strange.

This is what took place at 8:46 a.m & 9:13 a.m. that fateful morning on September 11, 2001. NYC Twin Towers were attacked right in front of my eyes. The feelings of horror that I had, the depression that kicked in, the nightmares I had of those people who weren't lucky enough to make it out as the building burned like an inferno, and eventually crumbled into one big pile of rumble. Some jumped out of windows to their deaths. I don't think I would have stuck around to burn to death. They were brave souls let me tell you.What became of the city when the buildings crumbled, was unbelievable. People were scurrying anywhere to be safe. They were running from the smoke hat was chasing right their way. Look at the photo below to see what I mean.

The first fighters and first responders carry this man to safety. Look at the smoke and white smog everywhere. I can't imagine what that was doing to their lungs. They were happy to be alive. The police, fire fighters, and all of the brave souls that perished on that fateful day will be remembered always for their bravery! The heroes that took over Flight 93 to try to stop it from hitting the Pentagon all lost their lives being brave. The chillen phone calls from men calling home to their wives telling them they wouldn't be coming home, and that they loved them, the messages left on voice machines for loved ones. Let us not forget the brave men who had children on the way, when he lost their lives. I saw a Barbara Walters television special about all of the 9/11 kids now ad then. What they had grown into was nothing less than amazing individuals. The single moms who raised their families without their husbands. I could go on and on talking about such a terrible tragedy that the world faced on the fateful day on September 11, 2001.

All know is that I'm happy to see the county has started to rebuild, their our plaques with each person who perished name on it, and the country has reached out to help these individuals who lost so much. As President George Bush did say "Yes, we will get though this", and he was right about that! SO here on this Sunday, September 11, 2011, ten years after that fateful day, we as a nation, pull together to remember the thousands who lost their lives on that crazy day, what they gave for us, their freedom for ours. You will always be n my heart along with all of the families affected by this. So at 8:46 a.m this morning and 9:13 a.m., I will take a moment and remember each and every one of you and how you sacrificed your life for others. Thank you all for your bravery, and heroism! I will never forget it.
